Heavy D: My friends, it is time once again for 60 second showdown. [Music] We are out here in treacherous Texas at the Polaris Proving Grounds and we've had a good mix of vehicles on the show, but now it's time to let the big dogs eat, which is why we're talking about the Polaris RZR Pro R versus the Can-Am Maverick RXRS Smart Shocks.
Diesel Dave: And with no further ado, let's go.
Tanner Faust: All right, big elephant in the room, design, suspension, look. It's polarizing, but for me as a racer, there's no better proving ground than the racetrack for reliability, durability, and performance. And for the last 2 years, the Pro R has been undefeated in the toughest off-road races in the world. From Baja to Dakar, the Pro R takes the win on that one.
Speaking of motorsport, two Liter versus one liter. No replacement for displacement. While there's more power coming out of the Maverick, it's a rung out single liter engine. These two Liter work less, more reliable, more durable. That's why they win races.
All right, let's go inside. For as high-end as these machines are in their lineup, you'd expect everything to be functional. Everything to be sorted out, good ergonomics, good design, these vents are functional, cooling the driver. The seats are vented and
Diesel Dave: Vented seats, or more swamp ass?
Heavy D: Hold on. 5 seconds. Swamp ass penalty. Continue.
Tanner Faust: But here's the thing. Uh once you get inside command, don't need your cell connectivity in the Polaris. You do in the Maverick. You got more map trails on the planet than any other side by side. Both rides have active suspension, but not all active suspension is the same. Where one really is reacting to what the suspension is doing, may have quick reactions. There's nothing better than a proactive suspension using yaw sensors, steering sensors, throttle, and brake sensors. Long story short, you run out of talent before the car does.
Heavy D: Tanner, listen, I know you got a lot to say, but our viewers got places to be like down local dealership to check these machines out for yourself because in our opinion, these are the baddest units on the planet. And we would love for you to see for yourself. So with that said, my friends, we will see you next time on 60 seconds showdown.
This episode was brought to you by the opinions of my friend Tanner Faust, Diesel Dave, and myself, Heavy D.
