How to Find Parts for Your Off-Road Vehicle

Replacement parts for your Polaris XPEDITION, RANGER, GENERAL, RZR or ATV can be identified and ordered using the Polaris online parts catalog.

Use the fitment tool to enter your vehicle information (year, model, trim level and color), select a vehicle from your Garage or enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

You then will be prompted to choose an assembly. For example, let’s find the battery for a 2020 Sportsman XP 1000 High Lifter Edition. Under ELECTRICAL, we'll select BATTERY.

Assembly Page

After selecting the assembly, you’ll see a diagram — which can be zoomed in or out — with part numbers that correspond to the listings below.

The battery is item 4. We can see the part number is 4015961, and it costs $139.99. This is where the part can be added to your shopping cart. In this case, the part we are searching for, a battery, can only be purchased from a dealer.

Note that the default quantity for a part is the number that comes with the complete assembly. In this case, that's one. To order more than one, change the quantity before adding to your cart.

Some parts will show multiple parts listings for the same item number. The part you need depends on which color or edition your vehicle is.

The final two letters in brackets correspond to the final two characters of your model number. To find your model number, use the VIN Search Tool.

Your Polaris Dealer can help you find the correct part for your vehicle.

Note that some older parts displayed in the parts catalog no longer are available from Polaris. Contact your local Polaris Dealer for availability. Additionally, any item shown on the schematic comes as a unit of 1. If you need multiples of an item you must adjust the amount you order. Prices displayed in screenshots are accurate as to the time in which they were captured and may not reflect current pricing.

Warning: In order for work to be performed safely and correctly, many parts replacement procedures and repair procedures must be done by trained Polaris service technicians in a properly equipped shop. You must read the service manual and be familiar with the service procedures before starting the work. Certain procedures require the use of special tools that are not available to the general public, and your dealer will have to perform these procedures for you as necessary. If you have any doubt as to your ability to perform any of the procedures outlined in the service manual, contact an authorized Polaris Dealer for service. Procedures indicated to be performed by dealers only could void your warranty if performed incorrectly. The failure to follow correct procedures and use correct tools could result in serious injury or death.
