For information on tools, read the Tools and Fasteners Guide. Always wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves when installing accessories on your Polaris XPEDITION.
To install the Rail D-Ring Kit on your Polaris XPEDITION, follow these steps.
1. Start by parking the vehicle on a flat, level surface, ensure it is in PARK and remove the key.
2. Loosely assemble the clamp, wing screw and T-nut.
3. Insert the T-nut through one of the port openings in the rail. Slide the clamp assembly to the desired location on the rail and tighten wings screw until fully clamped. Tip: A screwdriver can be inserted through the top keyway on the wing screw to tighten the clamp.
Loop of the D-ring must point in the direction of the load. Use minimum of two D-rings for each 50lbs of cargo. Do not exceed strap manufacturer’s recommended load. Do not use tools to tighten ratchet strap. Attach only one hook to each D-ring.
