Almost perfect
Bought a few months ago, been riding it atleast once a week. Love it overall, great machine. I wanted a rig that was great at trails, but also had enough power and clearance to get through some thick Georgia mud. So far this atv has conquered everything Ive thrown at it. My only complaint/wish is that It was snorkeled. Im well aware of highlifter editions, I think the 1000s would be the best of both worlds with the snorkel off of a highlifter. PLEASE MAKE THIS AN ADD ON. I want a wheeler that can go through mud/water over the fenders and still run 80mph. Due to the belt/clutch exhaust location I cant get this wheeler in water barely above the rear tire.

honest opinion
The machine overall is what it is claimed to be. incredible suspension, handling is top rate, styling cues are forward thinking, seat is very comfortable and a person can spend a complete day on the trail without getting fatigued. The down side is, very hard on fuel (10 MPG) brakes are adequate, headlights are sub-standard for the price point and level of bike

Well Rounded Machine !!
I first seen the Sportsman XP1000 S at a dealership in Northern lower Michigan and had to have one . Appearance was everything to to me and that had what I was looking for, so I purchased one a month later . Wasn't disappointed ! I have pulled tree trunks out of the woods that were larger than the machine and then took it on a 8 hour trail ride . Its a work horse that rides like a Cadillac yet handles like Sport quad . Very good balance of work and play features engineered into this machine, very impressive Polaris !!!

Perfect platform for the experienced rider
I bought my 1000s about 3 months ago now, and have put about 1700km on it already, so that should tell you something off the bat. This machine has no issues at all putting air under the tires, in fact, it excels at it, the suspension soaking up any bump, big or small. The stock tires are very capable for your average terrain, but as I ride a lot of muddier trails, a set of cryptids ended up under the machine as a trail tire, with plans to upgrade tires/clutching in the near future.

Hands down, better than a Canned Ham aka Canam
With the 3 settings on the power, I took my time learning my unit. Hitting the trails is a breeze on this beast. And the towing other toys out when stuck is easy peasy.

Crazy Fast and advanced
The best quad I have ever have owned. So advanced and needed to learn all over again how to ride all over again. The power steering is new to me and love it. My only complaint is that the front lights are still now LED. REALLY it 2020 LED comes in everything and for 16k I think the ATV should have come with it. The ATV can go as fast as 75 mph. But not at night because you would overdrive your headlights. Polaris should have thought about safety with the lights.

Rides like a Cadillac, super stability with 55"...
I bought this last Fall from Bibbens Sales and Service . I already have about 500 miles on it, before I put it away for the winter. I have only Bibbens Service technicians work on my Machines. I ABSOLUTELY love this ATV !! Polaris has re-written the books on ATV comfort and stability with this home run. The ProStar engine has more than enough power, and is super quiet.

I love it it , it has lots of power!
I got my Sportsman xp 1000s the end of 2020, I've been using it to plow my driveway, I have the poly blade w/electric hydraulic angle unit, so I don't have to get off and turn the blade. I live on the Kenai peninsula in Alaska, so lately I've been pushing lot of snow! I'm waiting for this summer to go trail riding, and then take it out hunting for Moose!
