To remove and install the radius rod on your model year 2021 and newer RZR 200 EFI, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and ensure the parking brake is set.

2. Remove the wheels from the vehicle.

  • Begin by loosening the lug nuts with a 15mm socket with breaker bar while the vehicle is on the ground, but do not remove them at this time.
  • Safely elevate the vehicle. Reference your Owner’s Manual for proper lifting techniques.
  • Once safely elevated, remove and retain the lug nuts and set aside.
  • Remove the wheels and set aside.

3. Remove and retain the radius rod fastener from the bearing carrier with a 13mm wrench and 15mm socket. Discard the nut.

4. Remove and retain the radius rod fastener from the vehicle frame with a 13mm wrench and 15mm socket. Discard the nut.

5. Remove the radius rod from the vehicle.

6. Before continuing, examine the radius rod shafts, boots and spherical bearings for any wear or damage and replace if necessary.

7. If reusing, clean any dirt or debris using a shop rag.

8. Align the radius rod with the mounting holes on the vehicle frame and reinstall the retained inner rod fastener from the rear of the vehicle.

9. Loosely secure with a new nut.

10. Reinstall the retained bearing carrier fastener from the rear of the vehicle and loosely secure with a new nut.

11. Torque the inner radius rod mounting nut to 40.5 ft-lbs (55 Nm).

12. Torque the outer radius rod mounting fastener to 40.5 ft-lbs (55 Nm).

13. If necessary, repeat this process for the remaining radius rod.

14. Reinstall the wheels on the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts until fully seated.

15. Safely lower the vehicle until the tires begin to touch the ground. This will help keep the wheels in place when torqueing.

16. Once lowered, torque the lug nuts to 30 ft-lbs (40 Nm) in a crisscross pattern.

17. Finally, safely lower the vehicle completely.
