Polaris Recalls Some 2021 GENERAL 1000 and GENERAL XP 1000 Vehicles
Polaris has determined that some Model Year 2021 GENERAL 1000, GENERAL 4 1000, GENERAL XP 1000 and GENERAL XP 4 1000 vehicles may contain a weld between the brake pedal pivot bracket and the EPS mounting bracket that was not produced to specification by the supplier and can separate, which can result in a loss of brake function, posing a crash hazard.

Number of affected vehicles: approximately 1,600 vehicles globally
Number of incidents: Polaris has not identified any field reports involving a crash related to this reported issue.
Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted vehicles and contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule a service appointment.
Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting affected registered owners by mail, phone and email if available.
