Polaris Issues Stop Sale/Stop Ride for Some 2021 RZR PRO XP and RZR PRO XP 4 models
Polaris has determined that some 2021 RZR Pro XP and RZR Pro XP 4 models may have a raised edge in the turbocharger at the oil supply line sealing surface which could result in an oil leak, posing a fire hazard.
Number of affected vehicles: approximately 2,000 vehicles and 35 turbo assemblies globally
Number of incidents: Polaris has not identified any field reports involving oil leaks or fires related to this reported issue.
Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted vehicles. Polaris is currently evaluating a repair procedure for this concern. At the time of availability, Polaris will re-issue this communication with repair information and additional parts, if required.
Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting affected registered owners by mail, and email if available. Polaris has reported this matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
