R-25-04-AA RANGER Safety Recall

The following is a copy of the R-25-04-AA Consumer email issued on 9/10/2025. Vehicles affected by this recall will receive notification by mail to the address the vehicle is registered to.

Dear Polaris Owner,

Polaris has determined that on some Model Year 2025-2026 RANGER XP 1000 NorthStar vehicles, the alternator cable or chassis harness breakout may be improperly routed to the positive battery post. This misrouting could cause the cable to come into contact with the negative battery post and result in damage to the cable's insulation. A damaged alternator cable or chassis harness breakout may result in an electrical short, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury. Polaris has informed the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) about the issue.

Our records indicate that you are the owner of a RANGER affected by Safety Recall R-25-04-AA.

Information about this safety recall is also available on the Polaris website linked HERE.
