Pat Mcardle: Hey, Pat McCardle back for another episode of Shop Talk where today we're going to give you the top five upgrades as we talk about the new Pro family of RZR. That includes the Pro XP, the new Pros, as well as the Pro R. So in this video, we're going to be talking about the Pro Rs we've got in the shop, but stay tuned for some details that cover the whole lineup.
All right, so let's dive into number one when we're talking about the top five things, and that's the overall style on these Pro family models from 2025. And what you can see is obviously this whole front end has been redone, right? New grill, new fascia, new lights, new hood, new fenders, new upper dash, new top. We've got new doors all the way back to new fenders. And if you focus in on the lights, we've got a trick wakeup sequence that if I flip the key on, you'll be able to see everything light up. So a ton of new styling comments and cues made it a little wider, a little blunt nose. It's a little tougher looking front end, and the body flow is all the way front to back.
So number one, talking overall style. As we talk number two, it's all about fit and finish. There's a few areas I'll point out quick for you guys. First one is this A-pillar cover. You can see it's a redesign, integrates in with the dash way better. It's held in place really nice, and when you look at the body lines here, they're consistent. The gaps are all uniform as you go between the dash panels, the storage bin lids, you know, the other areas coming through. When you look at the doors, you've got consistent body lines. The door is full coverage where it's sealed all the way around the bottom, a vertical line between the two doors so it makes it really easy to swing that door without worrying about catching on the back one. So that's number two, all about fit and finish.
Third one we want to talk about is how we keep you cool in the cockpit. Now that we've got this full door coverage, and the coolest thing ever is these holes that you see here in the front fender. We're actually able to pull air down, run it down a duct, and actually shoot it out right next to your leg here on the side where you can open that up, you can position the way you want the air. And as long as you're going, you know, 15, 20 miles an hour or faster, it's blowing enough by there that it's going to cool your legs down a bit. The other nice thing that we have is this brand new seat on the Pro R Ultimates. So you've actually got heat as an option down on the bottom here, but in the back rest, we actually blow some air through here, and I'll quickly open that up so you can see it. But there's a filter screen in here and you can see a hole. So there's a fan that will actually push air at you to be able to cool your back and kind of run down, you know, your lower back. Makes it really nice and keeps it cool on an all-day ride.
The next thing we're talking is interior upgrades. So you can see all new seats on this Pro R. We've got better bolstering. The seats are a little more comfortable. We actually grafted these over from the RZR XP and the Polaris Expedition. We also relayed out the dash, so we've got new storage options here in the front, as well as a side that can hold themselves up, so it makes it really easy to get everything locked in. Still have tilt and telly on the upper end models. We've got a new passenger grab bar. We even upgraded the shift cable on the Pro R. And then the last thing that I want to highlight is the upgraded audio. So this thing actually comes stock with Stage 4 from Rockford Fosgate. So not only do you get new tweeters, new speakers up front, new ones in the back with bigger volumes, we've also thrown a 10-inch sub under the dash and a brand new amplifier that makes this thing sound just great.
