Polaris Recalls Some Model Year 2020-2021 RZR PRO XP and Model Year 2021 RZR XP Turbo and RZR Turbo S models

Polaris determined that under certain operating conditions some 2020-2021 RZR PRO XP and 2021 RZR XP Turbo and Turbo S models (2 or 4-seat vehicles) may have an increased risk of primary (drive) clutch failure. Certain primary clutch failures can cause debris and/or clutch components to be ejected from the clutch housing, posing a potential injury hazard to consumers. This condition typically occurs under high- load, low speed conditions (e.g., high boost vehicle launch, high RPM belt slip, launching with simultaneous brake and throttle application).

More information is available on the CPSC Website.

Number of affected vehicles: Approx. 18,400 vehicles

There have been no reported injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the affected vehicles. Polaris has notified dealers and contacted affected registered owners by mail, and email if available.

*Polaris issued a Stop Sale, Stop Ride on October 7, 2020, following our notification to the CPSC.  On November 19, 2020, Polaris announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with CPSC and updated our posting to reflect this change.
