Polaris Recalls Some Model Year 2024 Ranger 1000 / Crew 1000, Ranger XP 1000 / Crew XP 1000, Ranger XP Kinetic, ProXD Full Size/Full Size Crew, Gravely ATLAS JSV, and Bobcat UV34/UV34 XL Vehicles

Polaris has determined that some Model Year 2024 Ranger 1000 / Crew 1000, Ranger XP 1000 / Crew XP 1000, Ranger XP Kinetic, ProXD Full Size/Full Size Crew, Gravely ATLAS JSV, and Bobcat UV34/UV34 XL vehicles may have been built with a passenger seat belt buckle bracket or brackets that was not properly welded, which could result in the seat belt buckle anchor point separating from the frame, posing a potential injury hazard to consumers.

 

Number of affected vehicles: approximately 2,500 units globally

 

Number of incidents: Polaris has identified 3 improper welds. Polaris has not identified any reports of personal injury associated with this concern.

 

Customers should contact an authorized Polaris dealer to schedule the inspection and repair, if needed. To help keep consumers riding safely in the meantime, consumer should not operate the vehicle with passengers until the inspection and repair, if needed, is performed by an authorized Polaris dealer. DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself.

 

Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting registered owners directly.

 

Polaris has reported this matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
