Polaris Recalls Model Year 2021 RZR XP Turbo and RZR Turbo S Vehicles

Polaris is voluntarily recalling Model Year 2021 RZR XP Turbo and Turbo S vehicles because clutch can fail, causing fragments to be ejected from the vehicle, posing fire and injury hazards. This condition typically occurs under high-load, low speed conditions (e.g., high boost vehicle launch, high RPM belt slip, launching with simultaneous brake and throttle application).

Number of affected vehicles: approximately 30,250 units globally

Number of incidents: Polaris has identified 206 reports of clutch failure, including reports of six fires, two injuries and one tip over.

Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted units and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair.

To search off-road recalls by model or vehicle identification number (VIN) to see if your unit is affected by any recalls, visit the Off-Road Safety Recalls page or call Polaris at 800-765-2747.

*Polaris issued a Stop Sale, Stop Ride notice on September 9, 2022, following our notification to CPSC. On August 10, 2023, Polaris announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC Recall No. 23-780).
