Polaris Recalls Model Year 2022-2023 RZR Pro R (2 & 4 seat) Off-Road Vehicles

Polaris has determined that certain Model Year 2022-2023 RZR Pro R (2 & 4 seat) off-road vehicles, the alternator may have been improperly manufactured by the supplier and an internal rotor segment can crack and separate during operation, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury.
Number of affected vehicles: approximately 225 units globally
Number of incidents: Polaris has identified four incidents, including two failed alternators and two fires, as a result of this concern. Polaris is not aware of any reports of personal injury or property damage associated with this concern.
Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted recalled units and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair. DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself.
