Oliver Olson
Hometown: Roseau, MN
Career Start: 2010, 4yrs old
Race Circuit: Cor Powersports
“Snowmobile” was one of Oliver’s first words in life. Wherever a snowmobile was; driving or parked they always caught his eye. He got his very first snowmobile at the age of 3, it was a slight modification of a Kitty Cat, a Kitty Cat chassis with a Polaris 120 motor, his dad Chris built.
At the young age of 4 in December of 2010 Oliver began his racing career with KC Pro West race circuit. He raced a Polaris 120 in the Beginner Class. He gradually moved up through the classes winning many races and championships, including the Mini I 500. He graduated from KC Pro West at the end of the 2017 race season. In 2018 Oliver moved race circuits and switched to a full-size snowmobile. He started racing with USXC in their Junior 10-13 Class for 2 years. His second year he won the championship and won the most improved rider award. In 2020 he moved up a class to the Junior 14-17 and Expert Limited where he continued to have a competitive edge.
Oliver is eager to learn from his dad how his snowmobile works and the intense mechanics that go into making a race machine. Now at 16 years old he is even more passionate about racing and feels a comfort, when on his snowmobile, that he doesn’t get from anything else.
When not racing Oliver enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hunting and fishing.
