State: California

Snowmobile: Patriot 9R RMK Khaos 155

Favorite Place to Ride: Sierra Nevada Range

Tasha has been an outdoor enthusiast her entire life. She began fulfilling her love for the outdoors and the mountains in the Northeast of the US. Her passion for rock climbing, mountain biking, and all things motorized sparked her love of snowmobiling. Over 15 years ago she found herself at home in the Sierra Nevadas where she decided to settle in South Lake Tahoe. Her desire to explore bigger terrain combined with her extraordinary love of winter has molded her to become passionate about Avalanche Awareness and educating others around her.

Tasha works for the Lake Tahoe Unified School District as a Physical Education Specialist and Lake Tahoe Community College as a mountain bike coach during the summers and a motorized/human backcountry awareness instructor in the winter.

For the past decade, Tasha has raced mountain bikes professionally in both enduro and downhill disciplines. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Sierra Avalanche Center and is also the Chairwoman for the Social Media Committee. She is a Pro Level 1 and AIARE certified Avalanche Instructor. Snowmobiling takes precedence to satisfy her adrenaline cravings during the winter and she has a strong mission to uphold safety for those around her as well as herself and is adamant about avalanche education. She is an Ambassador of Fun and is devoted to avalanche awareness for all group users of the backcountry, especially in the motorized sector.
