The INDY XLT is viewed as a game-changing sled in the Polaris lineup and was a best-selling snowmobile of the '90s. With its high-performance engine and signature look, the XLT dominated the trails and the backcountry across the snowbelt.

A collection of snowmobile-related items, including a colorful Polaris snowmobile poster, an Eagle River Preview Issue magazine titled ‘Snow Week,’ and another Snow Week magazine with the headline ‘Leader of the Pack.

The 1997 440 Indy XCR was the factory race sled that featured the all-new, Polaris built Liberty 440 engine. This represented the first Polaris built and engineered 2-stroke engine. The Red Rocket dominated race tracks all winter, and cemented its spot in Polaris race history.

The ‘98 Rocky Mountain King 700 represented the first mountain-specific snowmobile from Polaris. A 136” long track and mountain specific suspension with the lightweight 700 Liberty twin engine, the ‘98 RMK set the bar for mountain performance that continues to this day.
