To remove and install the front upper A-arm on your model year 2021 and newer RZR 200 EFI, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface, ensure it is in park and set the parking brake.

2. Remove the wheels from the vehicle.

3. Begin by loosening the lug nuts with a 15mm socket with breaker bar while the vehicle is on the ground, but do not remove them at this time.

4. Safely elevate the vehicle. Reference your Owner’s Manual for proper lifting techniques.

5. Once safely elevated, remove and retain the lug nuts and set aside.

6. Remove the wheels and set aside.

7. Remove and retain the four front fascia fasteners with a T40 TORX® socket.

8. Remove and retain the upper shock mounting fastener with a 15mm socket and 13mm wrench. Discard the nut.

9. Remove and retain the two brake line fasteners from the A-arm with a T25 TORX® socket.

10. Remove and retain the upper steering spindle fastener with a 13mm socket and 15mm wrench. Discard the nut.

11. Carefully remove the ball joint stem from the steering spindle.

12. Continue by removing and retaining the upper A-arm mounting fasteners with a 15mm socket and 13mm wrench. Discard the nut.

13. Carefully pivot the front shock out and lift the A-arm out of the vehicle.

14. Inspect the A-arm bushings and pivot tube for damage or wear and replace as necessary.

15. If reusing the A-arm, inspect the ball joint and ball joint boot for wear, tears or damage and replace if necessary.

16. Thoroughly clean with a shop rag before reinstalling. If replacing the A-arm, new A-arm bushings, pivot tubes and a ball joint will need to be installed into the arm.

17. Pivot the shock up and align the A-arm with mounting holes in the frame.

18. Reinstall the retained upper A-arm mounting fastener from the front of the vehicle and loosely install a new nut.

19. Reinstall the retained upper A-arm mounting fastener from the front of the vehicle.

20. Carefully insert the ball joint into the steering spindle.

21. Reinstall the retained upper steering spindle fastener from the front of the vehicle and loosely install a new nut.

22. Align the brake line mounting tabs with the mounting holes on the A-arm and reinstall the two retained brake line fasteners. Torque the fasteners to 7 ft-lbs (10 Nm).

23. Before installing, inspect the shock bushings for any wear or damage and ensure they are fully seated.

24. Reinstall the retained upper shock mounting fastener from the rear of the vehicle and loosely install a new nut.

25. Torque the A-arm mounting fasteners to 44 ft-lbs (60 Nm).

26. Torque the steering spindle fastener to 44 ft-lbs (60 Nm).

27. Torque the front upper shock mounting fastener to 44 ft-lbs (60 Nm).

28. Reinstall the four retained front fascia fasteners, and torque to the fasteners to 71 in-lbs (8 Nm).

29. Reinstall the wheels on the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts until fully seated.

30. Safely lower the vehicle until the tires begin to touch the ground. This will help keep the wheels in place when torqueing.

31. Once lowered, torque the lug nuts to 30 ft-lbs (40 Nm) in a crisscross pattern.

32. Finally, lower the vehicle completely.
