A smooth, easy-to-handle suspension is important for a fun and safe ride. That’s why RZR models are equipped with different spring setups that are tailored to your vehicle. Each spring package has been designed based on feedback and extensive testing to deliver world-class performance.
Your vehicle features one of the following spring setups. Each design is tuned with your riding in mind.
Single Rate Springs
Dual Rate Springs
Most dual rate Polaris RZR vehicles are set up this way. Note that some will have the tender spring compressed with the vehicle at curb height. This is by design, and the tender spring is meant to be compressed.
Triple Rate Springs
Based on feedback from customers like you, some RZR models now feature an improved design with a triple rate spring stack. There are three styles, shown below.
Triple Rate with Helper Spring
Triple Rate with Cross-Over Rings and Helper Spring
Triple Rate with Cross-Over Rings and Dual Rate Tenders
The third spring — the helper spring or compressed position on the tenders shown above — is required to keep the other springs in the stack from going slack and becoming loose when the shocks go to full rebound. Although it looks different compared to the shocks you might be used to, this spring is meant to be compressed.
