Always wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves when installing accessories on your RZR.

Before installation of any accessories, read the instructions thoroughly and verify all parts and tools are accounted for. For your safety, perform all installation steps in the sequence shown and retain the instructions for future reference and parts ordering information.

For more information on tools, read the Tools and Fasteners Guide.

Rear High Coverage Bumper Installation

Required Tools and Supplies

To install the rear bumper, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and shift the transmission into PARK.

2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the key.

3. With the aid of an assistant, align the lower bumper with the rear transmission bracket.

4. Then align the bumper arms to the outside of the two C-pillar brackets.

5. Secure the bumper to the C-pillars using the two longer fasteners provided and two nuts. Use a 15mm socket to tighten, but do not torque at this time.

6. Install the two shorter fasteners provided into the lower bumper mounts and into the rear transmission bracket.

7. Then install the two plate nuts provided on the backside of the rear transmission bracket to secure the two fasteners. The bend of the face nut should face inward and wrap around the opening of the transmission bracket.

8. Finally, torque all fasteners to 40 ft-lbs (54 Nm).

Front High Coverage Bumper Installation

Required Tools and Supplies

  • 10mm Socket
  • T40 TORX® Socket
  • 13mm Socket
  • Ratchet
  • 13mm Wrench
  • Torque Wrench
  • T30 TORX® Socket
  • Front High Coverage Bumper (Part Number 2883749)

To install the front bumper, follow these steps:

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and shift the transmission into PARK.

2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the key.

3. Remove the front grille by pulling down on the two top tabs and pivoting out of the vehicle.

4. Then use a T40 TORX® socket to remove and retain the two upper fasteners on each side of the bumper fascia.

5. Using a 10mm socket, remove and discard the two lower fasteners on each side of the bumper fascia.

6. Remove the bumper fascia and set aside.

7. Reinstall the two upper fasteners to secure the front fascia to the cooling shroud. Torque to 97 in-lbs (11 Nm).

8. Next, remove the two push rivets holding the front fascia to the bull bumper.

9. Using a 13mm socket and wrench, remove and discard the four fasteners and nuts connecting the bull bumper to the bumper brackets.

10. Remove the bull bumper and set aside.

11. Next, slide the two provided U-nuts onto the fascia support bracket. The convex-style mounting holes of the U-nuts will help align it with the holes in the support bracket.

12. Using a 13mm socket and wrench, mount the support bracket onto the bumper brackets with the two shorter M8 fasteners and two retained nuts.

13. Loosely install the two push rivets on the support bracket before torqueing to ensure proper alignment.

14. Torque the fasteners to 16 ft-lbs (22 Nm) and remove the previously installed push rivets.

15. Next, install the bumper assembly by aligning the upper arms with the openings below the headlights and the lower arms with the original bumper mounting locations.

16. Secure the bumper to the fascia support bracket with the two provided fasteners and torque to 79 in-lbs (9 Nm) with a T30 TORX® socket.

17. Next, using a 13mm socket, secure the upper arms to the chassis with the provided M8 fasteners. Torque to 16 ft-lbs (22 Nm).

18. Using a 13mm socket and wrench, secure the lower arms to the chassis with the provided M8 fasteners and nuts. Torque the fasteners to 16 ft-lbs (22 Nm).

19. Continue by securing the front fascia to the bumper with the two retained push rivets.

20. Reinstall the front grille by aligning the lower tabs and pivoting forward until the grille snaps into place.

Extreme Kick-Out Rock Slider Installation

Required Tools and Supplies

  • Tools Required
  • 13mm Socket
  • Torque Wrench
  • Ratchet
  • Extreme Kick-Out Rock Sliders (Part Number 2883997)

1. Park the vehicle on a flat, level surface and shift the transmission into PARK.

2. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the key.

3. Pass the provided anchor fasteners through the washer, rock slider and wedge anchor.

4. Then loosely thread the fastener onto the wedge anchor and repeat for the remaining wedge anchors.

5. Align the three anchor assemblies with the mounting holes in the vehicle chassis. Rotating the wedge assembly one-quarter of a turn can aid in anchor installation. Fitment should be tight with minimal play.

6. Press inward on the rock sliders while tightening the anchor fasteners, ensuring each anchor assembly is fully seated.

7. Torque the anchors to 20 ft-lbs (27 Nm).

8. Finish by installing the end caps over the mounting fasteners.
