Polaris Recalls Select Model Year 2021-2022 RZR Pro XP 4 as part of Stop Ride/Stop Sale for Some Model Year 2021-2023 RZR Pro XP 4 and Model Year 2022-2023 RZR Turbo R 4 Vehicles
Polaris has determined that some Model Year 2021-2023 RZR Pro XP 4 and Model Year 2022-2023 RZR Turbo R 4 vehicles may develop a fuel leak at the fuel pump assembly joint on the fuel tank. The potential leak area is in close proximity to a hot surface, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury.
Number of affected vehicles: approximately 23,230 units globally
Number of incidents: Polaris has identified 10 incidents, including eight fuel leaks and two fires as a result of this concern. Polaris is not aware of any reports of personal injury associated with this concern.
Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted units. Polaris has identified and received CSPC approval on a solution for certain Model Year 2021-2022 RZR Pro XP 4 vehicles. Polaris will contact owners once parts are available.
For remaining Model Year 2021-2023 RZR Pro XP 4 and Model Year 2022-2023 RZR Turbo R 4 vehicles, Polaris has identified a solution and is currently working with CPSC to validate.
DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself. Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting registered owners directly.
Polaris has reported this matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

*Polaris issued a Stop Sale, Stop Ride on September 2, 2022, following our notification to CPSC. On November 29, 2022, Polaris expanded the affected population and notified dealers and affected registered owners, following our notification to the CPSC. On December 1, 2022, Polaris announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission
