This video goes over the installation of the Rhino-Rack® Multi-Purpose Tool Holder Kit (part number 2889528).
Required Tools and Supplies
- 5mm Allen Socket
- Ratchet
- Shop Rags
- Nitrile Gloves
- Eye Protection
For information on tools, read the Tools and Fasteners Guide. Always wear safety glasses and nitrile gloves when installing accessories on your Polaris XPEDITION.
To install the Rhino-Rack® Tool Holder Kit on your Polaris XPEDITION, follow these steps.
1. Start by parking the vehicle on a flat, level surface, ensure it is in PARK and remove the key.
2. Open the tool holder fully and install a screw and washer into the channel nut. Repeat on the other tool holder. Note: Make sure the teeth on the washer are facing the bottom of the tool holder.
3. Slide the tool holder into the rails and tighten with a 5mm Allen socket. Torque to 3-4 ft-lbs (4-5 Nm).
4. If installing in the bed side rail, remove the tailgate bumper and slide in from the rear. Reinstall bumper once finished.
