The Polaris Interactive Digital Display (PIDD) is a 4.3" screen used to integrate with RIDE COMMAND and your Polaris off-road vehicle. The PIDD allows you to view trails and update trail maps, as well as monitor and analyze your vehicle's performance. More information can be found in the PIDD User's Guide.
The PIDD is not a touch screen. It uses the five buttons on the bottom of the unit for navigation. The key functions are noted below.
Key 1: Alternate Home Screen Selection
1. Press any key to display the PIDD screen icons.
2. Press Key 1 repeatedly to display each home screen option.
Key 2: Odometer/Trip Meter/Engine Hours
1. Press any key to display the PIDD screen icons.
2. Press Key 2 repeatedly to display each option.
- Odometer (ODO)
- Trip 1
- Trip 2
- Trip Hours (TRIP)
- Engine Hours (ENG)
Key 3: Main Menu
1. Press any key to display the PIDD screen icons.
2. Press Key 3 to display the main menu options.
3. Toggle through the menu
- Key 2: Toggle up
- Key 4: Toggle down
4. Use the remaining keys to perform other actions in the main menu.
- Key 1: Toggle between day and night screens (brightness)
- Key 3: Select
- Key 5: Exit menu
Key 4: Battery Voltage/Coolant Temperature
1. Press any key to display the PIDD screen icons.
2. Press Key 4 repeatedly to display each option.
- Battery voltage
- Coolant temperature
Note that the display automatically will switch to the appropriate bar graph and turn red when a fault is detected.
Key 5: Bluetooth® Menu or Diagnostics Menu
1. Press any key to display the PIDD screen icons.
2. Press Key 5 to display Bluetooth® features. If a fault exists, Key 5 enters the Diagnostics menu.
3. Use the display keys to access Bluetooth® features.
- Key 1: Phone
- Key 2: Text
- Key 3: Toggle Bluetooth® on and off
- Key 4: Settings
- Key 5: Exit menu
4. If audio is enabled, Keys 1 and 2 change to the following:
- Key 1: Audio
- Key 2: Phone/text
Powering the PIDD On and Off on Models With a Battery
To power on the PIDD, turn the key to the ON/RUN position. To turn it off, turn the key to the OFF position.
There are two options to reboot the PIDD:
- Turn the key OFF for 5 seconds and then turn the key to ON/RUN.
- With the key ON, press and hold Display Key 5 for 20 seconds and then release.
Powering the PIDD On and Off on Models Without a Battery
To power on the PIDD, start the engine. to turn it off, turn the key to the OFF position.
There are two options to reboot the PIDD:
- Turn the key OFF for 5 seconds and then start the engine.
- With the engine running, press and hold Display Key 5 for 20 seconds and then release.
Note: Using the auxiliary engine stop switch (if equipped) on a vehicle to turn off the engine will not turn off the PIDD.
