Zach Dewald

Zach raced dirt bikes beginning at a very young age, but every winter he watched his father, Troy Dewald, oval race snowmobiles. After years of being on the pit crew for his dad, he was given his own opportunity to race. He came out of the gate swinging. In 2024, Zach and the Mickey’s Factory racing team won the Eagle River Pro Enduro World Championship as well as the MIRA points championship following an undefeated season. In 2025, he won the Eagle River FIII WC. Chasing the prestigious Soo I-500 win is high on the list of goals for him and his team. In 2024, Zach set the pole and his co-rider set it in 2025, but a win had remained just out of reach. Sleds are a family passion, but also the place where fellow racers and crew become “family” as well.

Outside of racing, Zach is a Journey lineman for Consumers Energy, and spends a great deal of time chasing white tail bucks across the country.
