Luke Rainey

Athlete

Luke Rainey launched his hill climb journey in 2006, progressing steadily through the semi-pro ranks until 2009. Along the way, he earned distinction as Semi‑Pro King at Jackson in 2008, marking a major milestone early in his ascent.

In 2009, Luke made the leap to the professional circuit and quickly amassed multiple RMSHA titles, securing 32 event wins across various classes. He particularly excelled at the Jackson Hole World Championship, capturing first-place finishes and multiple “King of the Hill” honors in both Stock and Improved categories.

One of Luke’s most standout achievements came at the Afton Hillclimb, where he achieved his biggest career highlight: winning the event on a Polaris RMK 600 - a feat he still regards as his signature racing moment.

Luke’s longstanding presence is further confirmed through his professional racer profile, which lists him competing aboard Polaris RMK 900 models and backed by prominent sponsors in the hill climb community.

With decades of hill climb competition and a trophy case filled with class championships and “King” titles, Luke remains a stalwart of the sport - continuing to push the limits of snowmobile racing with Polaris sleds.
