Mandy’s path to snowmobiling wasn’t as straightforward as some. She was introduced to snowmobiles as a kid, even spending an overnight amid a whiteout storm in the Snowy Range Mountains. Then she spent her 20’s leading wilderness backpacking, rock climbing, and winter ski courses for an outdoor school. Finally in 2017 she had a chance to get back on a sled and has spent every winter since dedicated to becoming a better backcountry rider in the mountains of Wyoming. As a smaller rider Mandy has learned to use technique and throttle to keep up on long and challenging days in the mountains. She loves sharing these tips and being a mentor to female riders.
