Logan Wicken
State: Alaska
Snowmobile: Patriot 9R RMK Khaos 155
Favorite Place to Ride: Summit Lake and Valdez, AK
Logan was born and raised in interior Alaska. Growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska, snowmobiling was a key component of every winter. Most winters growing up were split between the hockey rink for practice/games or on a trail/mountain snowmobiling adventure with family and friends. His uncle (Dan Simmons) was big in developing his early desire to ride. It seemed every riding trip his uncle took him on was some new “bigger than life” adventure. He thought he knew all there was to know about his home yet each passing year the AK backcountry reveals new views that still continue to leave Logan in awe. With so many areas to explore and realistically such a short life to see them all, “Unk” would tell him, “It’s a little about riding and a lot about life nephew!”
His hobby has evolved into a career as he currently works full time at the local Polaris Dealership as a Polaris ORV (Off Road Vehicle) Sales Associate. So, what began as way to get a sponsorship now pays the bills. Most days it feels like Logan lives, breathes, eats, and sleeps snowmobiles which when he looks at quality of life as a major component in “life” he feels he is pretty darn fortunate that this is where the adventure has led him.
