Brett Turcotte was born and raised in the mountains of British Columbia, where he grew up around his family's Polaris dealership and developed a passion for mountain riding at an early age.

At 13, Brett began racing Snocross and quickly rose through the ranks, earning a factory ride with the Blair Morgan Race Team, multiple Canadian championships, and a silver medal at the 2008 Winter X Games.

After retiring from full-time racing, Brett returned to the mountains and built a reputation through standout video segments, magazine covers, and progression in the sport. In 2016, he earned a bronze medal in Snowmobile Freestyle, launching a successful run at the X Games.

From 2020 to 2025, Brett focused on growing the sport through riding clinics in Revelstoke with Stoked Mountain Adventures and expanding his popular YouTube channel, Turcotte16, where he shares his passion for mountain riding. He also continued pushing boundaries through video projects with Monster Energy, landing world-first tricks and competing in elite hillclimb events.

Today, Brett enjoys outdoor adventures year-round, including motocross, fishing, hunting, and golf, while spending time with his wife, Niki, and their four children: Hannah, Tessa, Ezra, and Hudson.
