Graphic Design Intern - Corporate Brand:

The Corporate Brand Internship opportunity allows for a designer to learn, design, and advance brand elements. This intern will utilize Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office to apply their skill set to a variety of work times including content marketing graphics, social media templates and campaigns, apparel designs, iconography work and beyond. The Corporate Brand intern will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with various Polaris global business units and will report in to the Corporate Branding team.

Job Summary:

A Corporate Brand graphic design intern will be responsible for creating various graphics utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office working directly with the centralized brand team for the company. You will work across all product lines and a variety of internal departments to create print and digital assets. Projects include (but not limited to) content marketing graphics, social media templates and campaigns, apparel designs, logo and iconography development. Other duties as assigned, such as asset management or working with presentation materials such as PowerPoint.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create attention-getting and effective design that is audience engaging and enhance our brand.

  • Ability to provide different design directions for review and eloquently present the work to non-designers.

  • Support tasks such as template set up, image updates and benchmarking.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously within design specifications.

  • Prepare final files for digital or print production and ensure all files are organized and properly stored on the server.

Skills, Knowledge & Education:

  • Currently or entering Junior or Senior year, pursuing a BA/BFA in Graphic Design or related fields

  • Adobe Creative Suite experience required

  • MS Office experience required

  • Illustration skills a bonus

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines

  • Excellent eye for detail and must thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to present ideas to designers and non-designers

  • Retouch and manipulate images for various uses

  • Works well within a team environment but also driven to complete independent tasks

Job Expectations and Position Details:

Your position will be a Graphic Design Intern and has a target start of June 2023. This position has the ability to fulfill three-credits with the hours meeting the requirements of your specific school by Friday, September 1, 2023. Following the completion of the academic commitment, continuation of the part-time internship will be considered if both parties are aligned.
