Polaris Recalls some 2018-2020 RANGER XP 1000 models and 2019 PRO XD vehicles
>Polaris has recalled some 2018-2020 RANGER XP 1000 and 2019 PRO XD vehicles. Polaris has determined that some vehicles may experience damage to the vehicle’s fuel line in the event a drive belt breaks or fails during operation. Damage to the fuel line can cause a fuel leak which may result in a fire.
For RANGER XP 1000 vehicles, Polaris has developed an updated clutch outlet duct mount to protect the fuel line in the event a drive belt breaks or fails.
For 2019 PRO XD vehicles, Polaris has developed an updated clutch outlet duct mount to protect the fuel line as well as an update in fuel line routing in the event a drive belt breaks or fails.
Number of affected U.S. vehicles: Approximately 70,000
Number of incidents: Polaris is aware of 4 incidents connected to this issue. No reports of injury have been received.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and call their dealer to schedule a repair. Polaris is notified dealers and contacted affected registered owners by mail, and email if available.
