Polaris Issues Stop Sale/Stop Ride for Some 2020 SPORTSMAN 850 High Lifter ATV Models

Polaris has determined that some 2020 Sportsman 850 High Lifter models were built with incorrect front shocks which can reduce stopping performance and vehicle stability, potentially increasing the risk of a crash.

Number of affected vehicles globally: 37

Number of incidents: No reports of incidents have been received.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and call their dealer to schedule a repair. We encourage consumers to visit our Dealer Locator or call ahead to confirm operating hours given the current COVD-19 situation. Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting affected registered owners by mail, and email if available.

Polaris has reported this matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
