Polaris Issues Stop Ride / Stop Sale for Some Model Year 2023 RZR Pro R Vehicles

Polaris has determined that some Model Year 2023 RZR Pro R (2-seat) vehicles may experience a fuel leak at the fuel tank mold seam. A fuel leak at the mold seam could flow in close proximity to a hot surface, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury.

 

Number of affected vehicles: 77 units globally

 

Number of incidents: Polaris has identified five reports of fuel tanks leaking at dealer set up. Polaris is not aware of any reports of fire or injury associated with the reported concern.

 

Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted units and contact a Polaris dealer to schedule a free repair.  DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself.

 

Polaris is notifying dealers and contacting registered owners directly.

 

Polaris has reported this matter to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
