Employment Brand Marketing Manager
With responsibility for Polaris’ employment branding strategies and support to branding in totality, you will help build a strong pipeline of talent for roles across Polaris and help bring our brand to life in various ways. You’ll leverage your background in marketing and branding to engage prospective candidates for roles across our manufacturing, distribution center, field sales, engineering, and office locations. You will be responsible for leading highly visible work for the employment brand including creative and content development, paid, owned, and earned strategy and execution and activation of key partnerships. You will work closely with our Corporate Talent organization and across our Corporate Marketing team to align our branding across customer and employee touchpoints. With a relentless focus on understanding our brand, employee experience and candidate audiences & motivations, you will promote careers at Polaris and the organization. This role will be based at our Medina Campus in Medina, MN with an opportunity to work in a hybrid, flexible schedule.
Deliver high level strategy for our employment brand while creating and executing campaigns to drive relevance and results for recruitment needs in partnership with our locations. Understanding the overarching Polaris brand and the various elements to the organization will be a must.
Develop and execute paid, owned, and earned efforts in partnership with corporate branding and communications that showcases a strong focus on candidate engagement and digital marketing activation.
Work cross-functionally with our Talent organization and direct recruiting teams to determine campaign and material needs and partner with subject matter experts to deliver creative assets.
Develop effective ways to reach and resonate with a broad and diverse set of perspective employees, identifying potential new recruitment opportunities where relevant.
Partner with Talent and DEI to identify additional sources for diverse talent
Utilize data and analytics from a variety of sources to plan, evaluate, and optimize. This role requires someone who can independently and strategically plan, leverage real-time learning, make adjustment to deliver results and recommendations and decisions on future plans and investments.
Drives improvement on Polaris Career to support the candidate experience and drive recruitment results. Evaluate content and navigation optimization and enhancements and develop relevant content, as needed. Measure success of candidate applications and hires by source. Plan, create, release, and manage a variety of engaging new digital content including written, visual, video and beyond.
Apply your brand mindset to guiding brand use and corporate campaign development in support of advancing the Polaris Inc. brand.
Experience & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related Field
5+ years’ experience in Marketing, brand management or agency, employment brand experience strongly preferred.
Experience leading projects cross-functionally
Capable of operating on both strategic and tactical levels
Experience related to differing audiences and how to remain true to that brand, while developing relevant messaging to each audience.
Experience with paid, owned and earned; building the right plan to accomplish key business objectives
Experience in content development and distribution
Understanding related to digital marketing offerings specific to social media inclusive of paid
Lead the growth mindset, consumer-centric, candidate-centric, insight-led, and naturally curious with a sense for solving problems that others may not realize exist and a desire to push beyond the status quo
Ability to apply agility, curiosity, and leadership to tackle status quo in efforts to deliver strong candidate flow
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent critical thinking, sound judgement and effective decision-making ability
Proven success working in a fast paced, complex matrixed environment
Strong strategic and analytical mindset
