Polaris Recalls Some Model Year 2023 Timbersled ARO and RIOT Pro Units

Polaris has determined that an incorrectly torqued Quick Drive fastener can loosen while operating on some Model Year 2023 Timbersled ARO and RIOT Pro units. The incorrectly torqued fastener can lead to loss of brake function during operation, posing a crash hazard and risk of serious injury.

Number of affected vehicles: approximately 1,100 units globally

Number of incidents: Polaris has identified 7 reports related to this concern. No reports of loss of brakes, crashes or personal injury have been identified.

Consumers should immediately stop using the impacted units and contact a Polaris-authorized dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair, if needed. DO NOT attempt any repairs yourself.

To search off-road recalls by model or vehicle identification number (VIN) to see if your unit is affected by any recalls, visit the Off-Road Safety Recalls page or call Polaris at 800-765-2747.

*Polaris issued a Stop Sale, Stop Ride notice on January 5, 2023, following our notification to CPSC. On February 23, 2023, Polaris announced the voluntary recall in cooperation with the Consumer Product Safety Commission
