RZR
Pro XP

2023 RZR Pro XP Sport Ghost Gray is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 620.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome machine I purchased this car a couple months ago. I love the horsepower and suspension. So glad I chose this over the other models. I was a bit disappointed with the attention to details. There were several bolts missing throughout the interior. The doors were not aligned and I had to slam them to get them to latch. Tried to get the dealer to adjust during walk around/pick up. They could not adjust them correctly and after an hour I just took it like it was. Lucky I am a mechanic and made all the adjustments myself. It is all cosmetic and everything else is awesome about this car.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Its a great machine but some stuff went backwards. Wife and I prefer our 19 XPT over the PRO for where we ride and what we do. Machine needs help with the dust swirl it creates that is by far the worst we have experienced. We fought belt slipping issues, clutch rpm issues, belt dragging on the housing, etc.Vision needs a little help in the rear area. I personally think the back of the machine is too high created blind spots, put the storage too high, and creates a larger swirl than our XPT. We actually decided to sell the PRO that was initially purchased to replace our 2 seat X3. We love our 19 XPT 4 seater it is a solid outstanding machine. We use the X3 for high speed forest roads and would love to replace it with another Polaris but the PRO is just not it for us.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the quality I was expecting I waited almost 5 months for my machine to come in. Initially I was very impressed with the build quality and performance of the machine. After about 150 miles I started noticing some quality control issues. I noticed fasteners from under the dash were falling out and hitting me in the feet and the floorboard while driving. I pulled some of the dash panels off and found 22 fasteners that were either loose and ready to fall out or had already fallen out onto the floor. This made me think if these were loose, I should check the rest of the bolts/screws in the machine. I took a few hours and carefully went over the entire machine. I found a few loose fasteners here and there and were able to tighten them. I did find that the bolts that hold the drivers side of the center console were also falling out. Some had broken body clips that the bolts screwed into and some were missing the clips all together so the bolts were not biting into anything! At first I was super excited about this machine. Now I'm considering selling it and going with a different brand. The build quality is very disappointing considering the price of this machine. Other issues are the suspension and body parts make a lot of noise when hitting bumps and the radio sound quality is terrible (even after the latest update). and the drivetrain pops pretty loud when taking off from a stop. I understand that covid, supply chain issues and staffing issues have been a big problem for any company but I feel like my RZR was just slapped together to get it out the door. A few things I do like about the machine are the ride command display, the power and the dynamix suspension system are great! The Dynamix is well worth the cost of the conventional suspension system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice but pricey I really love the new style and work put into the design. The price point is a little high. I didn’t like having to replace the springs to aftermarket just to achieve advertised ground clearance. You do have to dump about $5000 into accessories just to get it trail ready in my opinion. Overall I am happy with it after I put accessories on. Ride command is awesome and so is rockford fosgate. I’d recommend if you don’t care to spend the money, it is a beast for sure. Polaris accessories are also on backorder for months so that’s a bummer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stop Ride Order We got this in July, only have 200 miles on it and it’s sitting in my garage due to stop ride order we received on 10-7-2020. A family member asked about buying a Polaris Rzr,I referred them to Can Am, they bought one on Saturday. We’ve owned snowmobiles, atv’s and side by sides from several different manufacturers. I owned 2 Polaris RMK’s 2001 800, 99 700, both were the best machines I ever owned. We owned a 2017 xp1000 no issues. I wish I could sell it back and get my money back, but have put so much into extras We’ll loose thousands. HOWEVER, I WILL NEVER TRUST RIDING THIS MACHINE MORE THAN A MILE FROM HOME, THIS REALLY SUCKS, I CANNOT BELIEVE POLARIS IS OK WITH SLL THIS ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Interior im a long time RZR owner with this being my 3rd purchase in 10 years. the Ultimate has much more leg and shoulder room for two grown men to sit comfortably without touching shoulders. the beefed up chassis seems much stronger and leaves me at ease while riding. the active suspension with steering wheel controls are amazing and i dont know how i rode with out them before. my only issue is how low the clearance is. i do not agree with what the specs say. the unit is so much heavier, it bottoms out even in the "firm" setting. the firm setting is only a 6 out of 10 when the prior years were 10 of 10.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Horrible first experience I am a merchant marine an I am gone for long periods of time I bought the machine few days before I had a contract an when I finally came back home very excited to plan a weekend with the few days I had home but then I receive an stop ride letter in the mail do to the clutch haven’t been able to get it to a dealer bc I had to go back out to sea so now whenever I get home I still can’t ride it bc I have to bring it to the dealer to get it fixed. My first side by side an I am just having a awful experience with it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish and fast I bought this unit after my XP1000 broke a secondary clutch bolt at 20 hours. I was on vacation and my 1000 couldn’t keep up with my brothers can am maverick. So I took the plunge and bought the pro xp. I absolutely love it. The seats are extremely comfortable and don’t lean you back too far like the can am. Also the suspension tuning was great out of the box. Again, my brother spent 5 hours tuning his can am for the dunes. The only down side is the rear folding seat. I thought all pro xp 4’s had the flip down rear seat but apparently I was mistaken. I definitely would recommend if your looking at buying a machine with plenty of power and comfort. Oh yeah, I beat my brother’s can am now!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVING THE TRAILS! My RZR is the perfect machine for my family. The power and style of the RZR was just what we were looking for. Love the features and the ease of getting in and out of it. This is the perfect size for one person or a party of 4.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible customer service on warranty item My engine block leaked oil at just over 90 miles. AZ West diagnosed the issue, which is a defective engine block mold. Polaris refused to replace the motor, only rebuilding it, which leaves me with a new car with a rebuilt motor at 90 miles. Also, I've without a car for over 3 months. Polaris refused to even try to accommodate me, such as providing me with a new motor or issuing me Polaris credit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome performance, not quite perfect Out of the box, this is a great machine. Customizing takes it to the next level Goods: powerful, great handling, Dynamix is a really nice feature to have when you do mixed driving, seating and comfort (I’m 6’5” and fit comfortably in any of the seats, ride command features are great. Not So Goods: stock springs are simply not up to the task once you start adding accessories, cab heat on long rides, factory audio quality is meh for the price, all can remedied easily enough through the aftermarket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The machine is well improved but. This is a very capable machine, however the claim is 14.5 inch of ground clearance and it was delivered with only 12 also the stereo is not as good as advertised the clutch slips and I can smell the belt under minumall load. I paid a lot for this machine and I would have expected more from Polaris as I am a loyal Polaris owner I have owned 3 new Polaris RZR 1000. Overall I still love this machine and they have made great strides in improving over the years the suspension is my greatest disappointment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from In the shop I bought my 2020 pro Xp at the end of May. Have only put a little over 100 miles on it. Last time I had it out, I trouble with it overheating. Today, I went to go for a ride and it wouldn’t start, do to an issue with the battery. So now it is in the shop. My cousin has the same model that I have and it has been in the shop for the same battery issue. I am off to a bad start, so hopefully I don’t continue to have problems. Overall I really like the look, comfort and the horsepower. I just hope they get it fixed quickly so I can RIDE. So far I have had more trouble than FUN.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice machine its a nice machine but it has its bugs, and it just makes it worse when the dealer is closed do to the pandemic and other dealers tell me that I am 2nd in line customer because I didnt buy it from them. It needs the clutch adjusted since I first got it, and its always been hard to shift since day one, and I don't have nowhere near the ground clearance that is advertised. There are some issues that need to be resolved, but all in all its a pretty good machine for being the first of its model

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pro Model, cheap features, great speed I purchased mine in June 2020 before it even left the lot the shifter knob broke when putting it in the trailer. It currently only has 10 inches of clearance in the front of the vehicle and it is impossible to get it into a dealership to resolve other issues. The doors rattle even after I have tightened everything. Fuel gauge is pointless. As a veteran a lot of us are getting into this hobby and it's a shame when you buy a top of the line Polaris and these are the issues you run into.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money It is generally a poorer driving experience than my 2018 RZR XP. It is very difficult to see out and the harness is super awkward to use and is uncomfortable. There is currently a recall with no fix until the end of summer and it now can't be used - this will now be the last Polaris I purchase - I am moving back to Honda and Bombardier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I’ve owned this machine for 3 months now. A little over one month of that it’s been sitting due to a “stop ride, stop sale” recall waiting for a fix. Half of the plastics don’t line up the way they should. Panels aren’t fully clipped together and won’t clip together. On our second ride out the Polaris emblem fell off the front. Alignment is off in the front causing the steering wheel to be crooked. I actually thought something in the front end was bent but I can’t find anything bent or broken. Handling wise it’s not any better than a normal XP. Does have more power than the 2019 Xp turbo. The seats are much more comfortable. But that is about all I can say good about it. Not at all worth spending the extra money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome car , The pro xp is beautiful.I have not gone on a ride yet because it off season and to hot here in Southern California. But desert season will be fast open us and we will be riding soon The negative thing about my experience is getting the parts. The spare tire carrier has been back ordered tell November . A company as large as Polaris taking 6 months to ge t the tire carrier is terrible.I’m trying to be kind. But it’s not just the tire carrier. The rigid 32 inch light bar and brackets the wait took 4 months., the storage units in back same. Your parts department suck

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fast and fun ride! I love everything about this new RZR except one thing. For some reason they left a gap in the firewall between the front wheel wells and the passenger compartment. This allows tons of dust in, but even worse- heat. There is so much hit air that blows in on our legs that makes summertime riding extremely miserable. I could see appreciating it in the winter, but there needs to be a way to block it off. That’s my only complaint. The machine as a whole is incredibly fun and capable. Overall I love it. If I can’t find an aftermarket part to fix it, I’ll just make one myself.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plenty of power. I purchased my pro xp new in July. Immediately i was blown away with the power of the machine. The machine has 150 miles on it now, after 3 months, and the machine has become noisier and rattles a lot. The clutch is clunky, and the suspension has its clunks. Wheel bearings are making noise and the belt slips under load at high RPM. For what I paid, I'm a bit disappointed. Power steering seems stiff and ergonomically it could be better, although its still better than can am.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 3 months old and can’t even ride it Machine has a lot of power maybe to much. A very nice looking machine. Have only put 150 miles on it. It has been on a STOP RIDE for the last 3 weeks and Polaris hasn’t came up with a fix for the Turbo casting issue. IDK if the part is bad replace it? Hmm. It is a very nice vehicle and has a lot of room inside.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pro XP Utimate This is a serious RZR capable of tackling anything you can throw at it. The ultimate package offers a full sound system but leaves room for improvement in volume and sound quality. The stock springs have settled and the tender springs have nearly fully collapsed in less than 300 miles requiring a full upgrade to Shock Therapy springs. Aside from those issues this machine will leave a smile on your face lasting long after the ride is over. 10/10 comfort, control and power.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fun SXS but not perfect Think I was expecting a little more from Polaris's flag ship RZR, especially since it's the most expensive sxs to date. The interior is definitely a huge step up over the old RZR along with the increased legroom but then Polaris cut corners on the so called doors. They are a terrible design with three to four inch gaps that let everything through. The competition gives you an real door and even a roof on their premium model so why not on the premium priced Polaris Pro XP? Compared to the older RZR platform the Pro XP is a step up in many ways but a let down in others.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Polaris can do Better! Bought my Pro in July. It is a nice machine but to bad Polaris didn't take the time to refine it. Advertised as 14.5" clearance, it has 12.5" before I even rode it! Shocks bottom out even with the tenders cracked up. I have the front bearings popping and a "Stop Ride" order from Polaris for the clutch! O2 sensor was also disconnected when new (common problem). It is a fun machine don't get me wrong, just wish Polaris would have spent more time on it before releasing it!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality Needs To Improve Where to Start! The PRO has been in the shop longer than I owned it. Purchased it in September and it has had multiple problems. And currently still waiting for parts for Dealer to repair it. Heck even the accessories are on back order for Months. Polaris definitely needs better quality at the factory.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine except the wheel bearing issues We bought our machine middle of the summer and its been overall a great machine. We have done a ton of accessories to it already. Few things that I would reccomend is that from factory, the ultimate's clearance is WAY TO LOW, another thing is the wheel bearing issue that they are having is super frustrating. I am the service manager at the dealership in Sioux Falls, and we are just going to look into different hubs at this point. We had our first wheel bearings replaced under warranty at the dealer and not even 200 miles later, they are clicking on turns again. Just feels like a poor design in the hubs. But like any other brand new model, I am not super upset because we seriously enjoy the rest of the machine, so much.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First Ride - Upgrades Needed We took our new 2021 RZR PRO XP 4 to Windrock for its first ride. We quickly discovered that it needs Upgrades to handle terrain like that. First thing is a Gear Reduction - Low is geared way to high for rock crawling. Ground Clearance is your friend - We need more height so I guess we will have to Upgrade to Shock Therapy. Don't get me wrong - We Love the RZR Product line but it would be nice to not have to spend a lot to get it rideable for Midwest Terrain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rock Warrior 69 Awesome machine! Power where you want it! Comfortable ride, really like the new design. Issues I’ve had already are: wife doesn’t like seat belts holder harness and gaps in front and below doors. Major issue: under 100 miles my skid plates pealed up because of the pore installation. Bolts/washers not recessed in their indented positions from the dealer. Also the trail arm attachment to the frame protrude below the skid plate unlike my XP which is flat along the back of the frame. This creates an impact point for rocks and terrain. Otherwise I couldn’t be happier with performance and looks. Would like to see more aftermarket parts. One last thing, rear ended sags a little and doesn’t have the clearance that is advertised.

XP 1000

2023 RZR XP 1000 Premium Onyx Black is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 944.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Proceed with caution I purchased my Xp1000 on June 24 2019. Ran great first time I took it out. Second trip, 1 day in, the clutch breaks into 2 pieces. I had purchased the extended warranty and should have still been under factory warranty. Polaris nor the dealer would warranty anything. Machine had 299.7 miles on it. less than 25 hours. I paid a good price for the machine and warranty, as well as A pile of cash in add ons. This was my 5th Polaris product. I do not believe I will purchase another Polaris. They could have put a clutch on it for a minimal fee. I am a business owner and would have spent a few bucks to keep a customer hands down. Especially a repeat customer. If you are thinking about buying a XP1000, do your homework first. Ask whats covered and what is not covered. Apparently the warranty or extended warranty covers nothing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun, Fast and reliable, so far I really am enjoying my RZR, a few things I wish it had different on it, wish the wheels were all the same size so upgrading tires and adding a spare was easier. The factory Ride command speakers are loud but dont sound very good, no substance, no bass at all. Haven't had many issues with getting through or over something, again, bigger tires would help. Looking at my friends Kawasaki the radius arms and a arms are much thicker and look stronger, they might not be but they look more durable. Over all so far I do really love my RZR, just a few areas that need improvement/different approach.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2018 rzr xp1000 I bought this in November, by February I had went threw 3 drive belts. Took it to polaris and found out it was the primary clutch. It's now almost June haven't had much problems but the rzr hasn't been off road much, besides in my yard, and the belt is starting to slip again. I hate that I paid that much on a machine and am afraid to go ride anywhere because I'm afraid it's going to leave me stranded. I really would like to purchase a new General but I'm afraid of the same thing happening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Would'nt have anything else. We went from a Can Am Commander to our RZR and there is no comparison. The only down side to the RZR is the storage. We ride in a large group and most of the time we make a long day out of it. We love to stop and grill and hang out so I had to get creative with the cargo area so I could pack my tools, cooler and other essentials that we need. It would be great if Polaris came out with a Utility version where everything (suspension, engine, HP, clearance, etc.) was the same as the RZR XP1000, but incorporated a larger cargo area. All in all, I would trade it for anything else out there on the market.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great machine love the technology. Love this machine so much way better than my 2016 rzr 900. Only reason I left a 2 star because it’s something I can’t hardly stand and really wish it would get fixed and made right. Had not even 100 miles on it and check engine light keeps popping up with power steering light and sends me into limp mode every single time I shut off the machine and start it back up. Pops up the same codes every time. I have taken to my Polaris dealer and they can’t figure out the issue. Really upsets me I spend that much on a machine and it has a bug like that. I love the rzrs I always have the comfort the especially the looks is why I go Polaris. But this is a bit of a set back for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RZR Life is Great! I bought mine as a Christmas present to myself, best present ever...I have always wanted one and I have no regrets about getting this one! Has a retired Marine, I found something to give me that rush again, which was missing and the bonus is even my 17 yr old teenage son gets out of his room to go and ride. Everything is better in a Polaris RZR baby! Note- Always had motorcycles all of my life. After I retired from the Marine Corps, I sold my bike to move back to Ga. My wife told me I could get a new Harley but I wanted a Polaris RZR 1000 instead. Best SxS out there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upset! But we love our ride We bought our ride about 2 months ago and Love the way it looks and all it does. But when it gets hot it does. We was on a long adventure and we had to call someone to come get us because it kept on dying, not good!! So we took it back to dealer, they had it for about 4 days and called and said that there was nothing wrong with it. So we went and got it and it done it again, this time it was in the middle of the road in a sharp curve that could have costed us our lives. We love our ride it is the most awesome thing we have ever had and Love all it's great features and wish we could enjoy it more, but we can't get to far from home because it will die on us when it gets hot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2nd RZR not getting any better This is my 2nd RZR. I have a 2017 and a 2020. The 2020 is just as noisy as the 2017. It rattles and clanks and the fit and finish has not gotten any better. It runs great but a little loud. The new shape of the 2020 makes the dash too high for short riders( my wife) and the windshield no linger fits well. I bought it so I could have 2 of the same vehicle for easier maintenance. The performance is great and the ride is the best out there. I've ridden them all. These are very good machines, but could be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great machine I bought this 3 months ago and I love it. Worth every penny. It has all the upgrades I would have added after the purchase all ready installed. Fuel injection workers perfectly at elevation over 12 000 feet. Lower low range works great on rocky Colorado trails. Tried to use winch for first time and it didn't work. It's under warranty so I will bring it back to the dealer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice vehicle, lots of fun Have owned this XP 1000 for about three months after owning a 2011 800 S LE for five years. Much more power, better ride and power steering. Would give it a 4.75 stars if I could. Love the vehicle but, not quite perfect. Think it should come with full doors or wider front fenders from factory to keep mud and water off the passengers, shouldn't have to pay extra to stay a little cleaner. Sometimes gear indicator says it is in gear but, isn't and causes grinding noise if you try to get ut in wirhout shutting off engine first. Minor issues, still very happy with rig.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RUNS AND RIDES GREAT! I bought this RZR 8/27/19, I was vacationing in Silverton Co. Went back to Co. and stayed thru October. We put over 600 miles on the RZR riding the passes and trails around Silverton. It performed great, rides 100% better than our Gador that we took back home in August and pick up the RZR I order. I did have a issue with the it making a noise when you let off the gas. I took it back to East Texas Powersports and they fixed it was the belt hitting the case. I'm very pleased with the service and the RZR.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Two major faults in the first 800 miles. My RZR developed a serious transmission leak in the first 200 miles. The car had to be roughly 40% dismantled to remove the transmission for repair. The Technician told me that mine was the 13th transmission leak like this that he had repaired. When the Polaris Certified Technician test drove it after the repair, a failing front Demand Drive differential was discovered. The main pinion bearing was defective therefore the pinion to ring gear alignment was incorrect which damaged those gears and required replacement. As the car had suffered two major breakdowns before it had 50 hours on it, I felt compelled to purchase the extended warranty. The car has been in the shop for two weeks but should be ready soon, so I am told.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good unit, but not perfect When I ordered this unit back in September, one of the top deciding factors for me was the Ride Command feature. Specifically the "group ride".However when I recieved the Rzr in December, to my surprise many features had been changed. Including "group ride, front camera" of course I was disappointed. I then made several attempts to contact support, regarding the "group ride" and never got a response. So therefore I have no faith that this review will even be recieved. Feeling cheated. Ron R.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dealer maintained and still only lasted 450 miles It was a fun toy. Fun to play with, but even after the dealer did all required maintenance at intervals more frequent than recommended. The engine had to be replaced at less than 500 miles. Ruined our vacation and even after its replaced I'm supposed to trust it to get from point a to point b? I don't think so.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst purchase of my life! I have never bought something that was broken from the date of purchase and get the run around like polaris has with me. I have owned the 2021 xp1000 for 3 months now and it's been in the shop for 7 weeks. To me this isn't the way to conduct business. Mountain Motorsports has been amazing in trying to accommodate me for the minimum effort polaris is doing to remedy the problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love driving it, but get no help from dealer. The machine performs great for about 300 miles then it eats a drive belt and the dealer won't do anything about it, but charge me for a belt and say there is nothing wrong. I have 700 miles on the machine since I got it 3-4 months ago and have had belt problems over and over, dealer just suggests put another belt on clean it and go. I ride this machine exactly how I have been instructed and do everything I can to prolong belt life. While the belt is good this machine is amazing I love it, but can't keep it going long enough to really enjoy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nothing but garbage Bought new in June 2021. Went through 3 belts within 70 miles come to find out the clutches were junk. Took 2 months to get repaired and when I finally got it back took it out after about 10 min of riding died and went into limp mode, back to the shop again. Ended up replacing throttle body, speed sensor, brake switch and the ecu. Got it back 3 weeks later and sold the thing. All my buddies have similar problems with the sport edition and the turbo models. I will NEVER buy or recommend anyone buy anything Polaris in my life. Pure JUNK and a waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very good machine Very good machine, however the known issue with the speed sensor is a little annoying. I recently purchased this machine along with a 2021 High lifter RZR. This past weekend of riding both machines malfunctioned while deep in the trails and a long way away from dealer. I was able to purchase the part needed to continue my vacation but this was a little of a let down because both machines had less than 80 miles on them at the time of the incident.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ride Command The Ride Command is a nice touch. The problem I have with it is the GPS and the phone app. Using the GPS while on a ride for me is next to worthless. All it shows is a brown screen with direction arrow. Zoom in zoom out still no use. Although I found you can download maps for it, conversions might be necessary if possible. Visiting your web site or asking your dealer gave me no real solutions. The phone app is so-so but the EULA that you have to agree to use it is ridiculous. To use the app why do you get rites to everything (pictures, locations, phone etc.). At this point I would strongly advise people that the Ride Command feature is not well supported and not worth the extra money paid for it plus any information gathered by Polaris becomes their property.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beyond frustrated with speed and brake sensors My Rzr is exactly what I want in a side by side and deserves 5 stars except I’ve had it for 3 months now and have had issues on every trip. The reason I bought a new RZR this year was to have worry free trips but this hasn’t been the case. I am on my second brake switch and third speed sensor and yet my RZR is sitting in my garage with no power steering, speedometer not working, brake lights stuck on, throttle randomly cutting out and in limp mode. And on top of that being told parts are back ordered for 2 months. Luckily I hung on to my 2012 XP 900 RZR so I can still get out. Besides this, Polaris really knocked it out of the park with this machine. It’s everything I could ever ask for just super unfortunate something so silly is making me regret my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Having Fun With My Grandkids I bought my RZR to be able to go out and play with my Grandkids. I still like to ride bikes and quads now and then but as I get older the RZR is easier on my body when I spend a whole day (or weekend) "tearing it up" with the kids. I don't have any problems keeping up with them and sometimes I have to back off a little so that they can keep up with me. My oldest Grandson (19) has found that it's pretty cool to take it out to spend time away from the crowd with his girlfriend since she is very timid on the quads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control from Polaris Bought my machine about 2 months ago and started the break in process on my property in mostly low range. At 19miles (yes miles) the check engine light came on for a misfire code and the cvt started shifting very hard. Took it to the Polaris dealer where I bought it and they said that the belt was totally destroyed in a small portion of it and that the primary clutch what machining itself on the inboard sheaves. They of course attributed this to being my fault as if I was power braking the machine. I asked the dealership to download the ECU to show that the machine was operated under normal conditions, eventually they did and it showed nothing out of the ordinary as far as other codes or abnormal temperatures or speeds. This wasn’t covered under any warranty but after numerous phone calls to corporate I was able to obtain a “good Will” coupon for most of the repairs (needed a new primary and belt). After waiting for almost 3weeks for a back ordered primary and many frustrating phone calls to my dealership and corporate I was able to pick up my RZR once again. I picked up the machine and when I got home took the clutch cover off because I didn’t trust the dealership’s maintenance abilities. When I started the machine with the cover off I discovered that it still wasn’t fixed because the secondary clutch and primary clutch were both spinning at about the same speed in park at an idle. Did Polaris check the cvt at manufacture? Probably not. Did the dealership even attempt to troubleshoot the actual problem By simply looking at the cvt run the first time I brought it in? No. How about after they replaced the primary, did they take even a glimpse at the cvt after install? My guess is no! I had an in person heart to heart with the dealership owner and he agreed to come pick it up and finally fix it. Turns out the alignment of the engine and primary were off causing the belt to be engaged with the inboard sheave of the primary even at an idle. I did receive the machine back the next day and it appears to be fixed but time will tell if I have even more cvt issues down the road. Overall my confidence in Polaris pretty much went to 0 and I am still very unhappy with how this whole debacle was handled. If I was in the market again I would have bought the Honda Talon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Machine We've been able to put a little more than 100 miles on our RZR; lots of road a basic trail time. Overall, I am most impressed by the Ride Command, a feature I would HIGHLY recommend. There is more than enough power for what I need. The springs are absolute garbage; rides way too rough considering there are Walker Evan shocks. Likely will need to spend more and swap out the springs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome machine, ride command sucks. I wish I had not spent the extra money for the ride command. I love everything about the machine but the gps....I'm disappointed with. I ride the black hills of south dakota. No trails on the base map. If you buy gps for your car and it didn't have any roads would you like that? I doubt it. Forget the uploaded rides because most of them are roads taking you from here to there. Actual trails are far and few between. I can use Avenza maps on my phone and get a better gps experience....and that's a free app. Even the snowmobile base map has some trails. The atv base map has NOTHING. I get angry every time I think about it. You don't need to rely on trail managers or whatever you call people who upload their rides....Just use USDA forest maps overlayed on your base map and there you go....trails are ALL there. Like I tell people...buy the machine but save your money for the ride command.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2018 RZR 1000 xp At first glance this machine is amazing. First ride I went to NH for some riding. Not hard riding just riding old logging trails. The machine did amazing and was surprisingly comfortable. After one day of riding I put the RZR back in the trailer only to find out BOTH of my brand new machines rear shocks (Evan Williams) were leaking. Bad. That to me is insane!! Machines been at the dealer since waiting on a response from Polaris as to what to do. It’s been 5 weeks. The “Polaris” parts I ordered off there website or from there magazine have been decent at best. The mirror crapped out on the first day, there response after two months was a gift card which was nice. Shocks are shot, they are going to rebuild them allegedly on a brand new machine. Windows and doors from Polaris I ordered and installed are flimsy at best and don’t fit right with gaps everywhere, as well as the door lowers. One fit perfect, the other has a 6” gap at the bottom. Windshield fit decent but is crooked. POLARIS GET IT TOGETHER!!!! You have a good machine but REALLY need to work on customer service and response to issues!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need better exseseries I bought my RZR in January We took it out and drove it. Keep in mind the price we pay for extras like the windshield. As we took it out on the trailer the windshield popped out going down the road we dis not know this until we got to where we were going to ride. It is very cheaply made or it would not have fell out from a 30 minute drive. After going back to find it on the road and ran over multiply times i called where i bought it because they are the ones that put it on. Nothing was done they said it was my fault.....how I ask. This is why I am not happy with my purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing vehicles I had no idea how well designed and engineered this beast is, but it can go over terrain I would never take a truck over and its suspension is remarkable. I wasn't sure about the belt-driven engine, but it is very efficient, accelerates smoothly and quickly, and holds you back going down hill. It is the perfect off-road vehicle for challenging terrain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase I've Ever Made!! The Machine is almost Flawless! Will climb, eat, and drive, anywhere I've pointed it. I have had some EPS Issues and the belt makes some pretty terrible noises every now and again. If I had to change anything, it would be smoother suspension, different factory seat belts, maybe more toward a harness type. Right now they cut a person in half and the retractor gets really stiff!!!! Price is a little over whelming, and I think should be adjusted a little bit, beyond that I am impressed.
