Start Here with RIDE COMMAND

RIDE COMMAND is an ecosystem of vehicle-related technology that connects website, app and vehicle capabilities. For off-road vehicles, there is a mapping system with over a million miles of verified snowmobile and off-road vehicle trails, and Indian Motorcycles and Slingshots connect to a GPS navigation and wayfinding system. You can also track information about your vehicle, such as maintenance intervals, and find riding groups in your area with the Community feature. More features are added with a RIDE COMMAND+ subscription.

RIDE COMMAND is an account linking system between Polaris snowmobiles, Polaris Off Road, Indian Motorcycle, Slingshot and the rest of the Polaris brand portfolio. You can use RIDE COMMAND features, track part, accessory and gear website orders and manage general account activities across brands with the same account.

For more information about the account experience for the different websites, read

These websites are branded differently but maintain the same account information. This one account manages all of the data between the websites, apps and displays powered by RIDE COMMAND.

If you have ordered online or have an account with Polaris, Indian Motorcycle, Slingshot or other Polaris brands and still have access to that email address, you don’t need to create a new account to use RIDE COMMAND features. It is also the same account as the one you would sign in to on one of the apps or in-vehicle displays.

How to Set Up Your Account
On the website:
1. On any Polaris, Indian Motorcycle or Slingshot site, click LOG IN in the upper right corner.

2. From that dropdown, click CREATE ACCOUNT and fill out the required fields.

If you think you might already have an account and would like to regain access, click LOG IN instead and select FORGOT PASSWORD? to enter the email address you think your account may be associated with.

3. After you have completed the first steps, the email address you used to create your account will be sent a one-time verification code. Follow the instructions in that email to enter the verification code and complete the account creation process.

On one of the apps:
1. Download the correct app for the type of vehicle you want to use with your account (app links listed below): Polaris, Slingshot and Indian Motorcycle.

2. The opening screen for the app will prompt you to either log in or create an account. Fill out the required fields.

Adding a Vehicle to Your Garage
The steps to add your vehicle to your Garage on the app and website are the same across product lines, but each will look different. Click the following links for instructions on using your PolarisIndian Motorcycle and Slingshot Garage.

App
Most features that are available on the website are also available on the apps powered by RIDE COMMAND. There are also things that you can do on the app and not on the website, like tracking a ride or participating in a Group Ride.

While the accounts and login information are the same, the apps are all separate for each of the main Polaris brands:

For information about device compatibility, see the Supported Devices list.

Website
Many of the features on the app are also on the website. To update the software and maps on your display, you must use the website associated with the type of vehicle you’re trying to update.

In-Vehicle Display
There are display-specific features that are not available on the web or app experiences. Some of these features require the use of a Bluetooth®-connected headset (like listening to music), and accessing other features requires a Wi-Fi or mobile hotspot/tethering connection (such as satellite/informational maps layers). Additional features, like ride planning, are not available on the display. You can sync account information between the app, website and display via the RIDE COMMAND Cloud or USB drive; click the following links for more information about syncing Polaris, Indian Motorcycle and Slingshot data.

Many vehicles come factory-equipped with a display powered by RIDE COMMAND, others can have them installed as an accessory and some aren’t compatible. Talk to your dealer for information about adding a display to your vehicle.

For information about device and headset compatibility, see the Supported Devices list.

RIDE COMMAND+
The only subscription-based component of the RIDE COMMAND ecosystem is RIDE COMMAND+. It has an extra attachment that is connected to both your vehicle and the cellular network to sync location and other data with the RIDE COMMAND Cloud. After the free trial period has ended, there is a subscription fee to renew annually.

FAQ
Can I change the email address associated with my account?
Not at this time. You would have to create a new account to change your email address.

Do I need a different account for my Indian Motorcycle and my RZR, for example?
No. The information in these accounts is linked if you add each of your vehicles to the same Garage. However, you must download the apps related to each type of vehicle you own, as you can only access information about the specific vehicle within its designated app. Using the example above, you must download both the Indian Motorcycle and Polaris Apps powered by RIDE COMMAND to access the app-based features.

See the Off Road RIDE COMMAND website, Indian Motorcycle RIDE COMMAND website or Slingshot RIDE COMMAND website for features and device or vehicle compatibility.
