Complies with ANSI/OPEI B71.9
Polaris Industries Inc. certifies that the Pro XD vehicles comply with the American National Standard for Multipurpose Off-Highway Utility Vehicles, ANSI/OPEI B71.9-2022 Standard.

Polaris Commercial adheres to a set of requirements and standards to ensure the quality and safety of the Pro XD vehicle.
ANSI/OPEI B71.9 Standard

Polaris Commercial's Pro XD vehicles are considered a MOHVU, and as such has features specifically intended for utility use and has all of the following characteristics:

Vehicle has a non-straddle seat.
Vehicle has a Gross Vehicle Weight rating of no more than 4000 lb (1814 kg).
Vehicle has a minimum cargo capacity of 350 lb (159 kg).

OPEI
The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) represents the interests of power equipment, small engine, battery power systems, and UTV, golf car, and personal transport vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers. OPEI leads industry standards development activities both in the U.S. and internationally.
ANSI
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private, non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standards and conformity assessment system. Founded in 1918, the Institute works in close collaboration with stakeholders from industry and government to identify and develop standards- and conformance-based solutions to national and global priorities.
Maintaining Compliance
Polaris Commercial passes 11 different tests to maintain compliance with ANSI/OPEI B71.9.
Enhancing Vehicle Safety
