This position will lead manufacturing in the introduction of new products to production. Work intimately with the design groups to insure timely completion of projects within budget and seek out, evaluate, and coordinate new manufacturing friendly processes for incorporation into Polaris vehicles resulting in higher quality, lower cost, and increased value for the consumer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: •Develop and maintain PDP assembly Manufacturing Plan and Process FMEA’s as assigned. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Manages resources to exceed day-to-day safety, quality, & productivity, and group goals while providing industry leading quality and service Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products to a variety of internal and external customers. Accountable for leading, motivating, coaching, communicating for team of 10 – 25 full time, seasonal, and temporary Warehouse Workers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: People • Demonstrate multi-function expertise and leadership skills to assign work, monitor area performance and suggest process improvement throughout the distribution facility. • Train and coach Warehouse Workers on the proper execution of warehouse duties, ensures policies and procedures are followed at all times. • Communicate to all levels of the organization on topics of daily goals, performance feedback, departmental, organization and company initiatives, etc. • Investigates and defines corrective action in areas of employee performance areas (Safety, Quality and Productivity). • Conduct employee performance reviews. • Coordinate with Supervisor, Human Resources and Temporary Agencies for appropriate staffing levels. • Schedule and conduct shift meetings. Operations • Supervise daily operations of specific department (e.g. receiving, restock, pick, pack, etc.) in accordance with warehouse policies and procedures. • Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. • Coordinate production startups and/or shutdowns. • Responsible to meet shift and daily order response, productivity, safety and quality goals. • Responsible for quality control. • Make adjustments as necessary during shift to receive, restock and ship appropriate product required for daily order response and program demands. • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe work guidelines. • Ensure a clean and safe work area. • Complete shift operations, reporting, human resources, payroll and other paper work as required in specific department. • Assist in daily operational Warehouse Worker duties as necessary. • Serve as a First Aid & CPR First Responder • Other duties as assigned. Skills and Knowledge: • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or active pursuit of degree. • 0-5+ years of management or supervisor experience. Prior warehouse/distribution experience preferred. • Proven Problem solving, decision making, and planning. • Effective written and verbal communications skills. • Effectively manages and leads through change. • Technical skills in business, quality, and floor operations. • Strong organizational management, passion for safety & quality, and supervisory skills will be needed. • Systems experience with AS400, RF/Bar-coding technology and Microsoft Office products. WORKING CONDITIONS Working conditions are normal for a distribution and office environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 40 pounds. Equipment operation requires specialized training and testing within Polaris’ standards. Must be able to balance many demands simultaneously.

Base Pay Range:

$22.69 - $27.05
