Job Summary:

The Training Content Developer is responsible for creating and implementing effective learning content for the Polaris Engineering team. The role demands a blend of creativity, experience in instructional design, and a solid understanding of engineering concepts and adult learning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive learning materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and multimedia content.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and relevant content for a diverse audience.
  • Work with subject matter experts to determine training needs and goals.
  • Update and maintain course quality to meet Polaris Engineering standards.
  • Use multimedia technology and authoring tools for innovative training solutions.
  • Collaborate with various teams to align learning content with company objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of quality content.
  • Set and follow through on project timelines and milestones.
  • Assess training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for improvement.
  • Keep ahead of instructional design and engineering education trends.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning authoring tools (MS PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline).
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.
  • Skills to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, concise training materials.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Independent and collaborative work skills across global teams.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Effective time management under tight deadlines.
  • Professional demeanor and customer service excellence.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio.


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training and development
  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in Instructional Design, Engineering Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing technical training programs, preferably in an engineering context.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  • Background in Engineering and or manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience with powersports or automotive fields training preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
