JOB SUMMARY:
The Indian Motorcycle marketing team works cross-functionally across multiple key stakeholders to drive a consistent and seamless experience at all touchpoints throughout the consumer decision journey. The Marketing Director leads strategic design for international campaigns and consumer experience. In this critical role you will lead all international marketing strategies for Indian Motorcycle brand and manage a multi-million dollar budget to deliver the digital program.
In this role, you will be a consumer-first, data-led, and results driven leader with previous consumer goods and digital marketing experience who will design the strategy and implementation of:
International Go-To-Market Strategy International Go-To-Market Alignment with our Sales team and Retail Partners International Experiential Marketing Strategy
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead international marketing team of resources to achieve objectives, including direct head-count, in-direct/share Subsidiary resources, and corporately shared resources. Lead the development of market and product commercialization plans internationally including marketing strategy, planning and execution of go-to-market plans in alignment with N. America. Partner with Product Management, Marketing, and International Sales & Distributor partners to foster a collaborative and aligned global brand message. Collaborate with International leadership to ensure market and product needs are met to support Indian Motorcycles Global growth objectives.
International Go-to-Market Strategy
Lead a team who manages the development, execution, and measurement of all International go-to-market plans; including paid media, digital (.com, email, social), earned media (PR, brand programs, product launches), experiential/event plans, and partner/vendor relationships that that build brand equity, awareness, and retail conversion globally.
Responsible for market & product commercializing efforts outside of N. America, including product line-up/model selection, market & competitive intelligence, pricing, and forecasting.
Develop short plans & long-term roadmap to serve the growing need for a global digital shopping infrastructure that more closely aligns with customer expectations and N. American investment in targeted paid media, lead generation & cultivation programs, and lead conversion efforts.
Serve as most senior international Indian Motorcycle leadership stationed in N. America. Responsible for fostering processes and environment that enables a globally aligned Indian Motorcycle brand message, product launch message, efficient asset creation, and best practice sharing across teams.
International Go-To-Market Alignment with Sales
This role will work cross-functionally across multiple key stakeholders to drive a consistent and seamless experience at the Moment-of-Truth with our retail partners. This role also works closely with external agency partners to execute initiatives and additional internal teams within eCommerce, Global Information Systems and our Consumer Experience Organization. A key aspect of this role involves clearly establishing business priorities in-partnership with our sales team and facilitating the release of this information through the team to our retail partners.
Design and execute the Consumer experience with the Dealer network to ensure Dealer Digital and marketing optimization and ensure alignment with IMC Digital Marketing Strategy.
Demand creation and capture are critical outputs of our digital efforts. Consequently, you will be responsible for dealer paid media efforts focused on driving sessions, CPS, leads, CPL, and ultimately, Sales.
This individual will work cross functionally to develop retail planning standards, tools, training and programs to create and capture demand at the store level.
Establishing business priorities in-partnership with International sales team and facilitating the release of this information through the team to our growing retail network.
International Experiential Strategy
In this role you will manage the strategy and development of integrated experiential marketing programs designed to further build the Indian Motorcycle brand and support the Indian Motorcycle business across Europe, Middle East, and Africa as well as Asia Pacific.
You will oversee end-to-end planning and production for experiential programming within brand and product awareness campaigns. Additionally, you will design-and-develop campaigns that turn owners into fans of the Indian Motorcycle Brand with a focus on owner repurchase. You will partner closely with the North American Brand Marketing, Communications, Content, Creative, Sales teams, and external agencies to develop programming that disrupts the conventional experiential model. You will use data and insights to measure and optimize performance on an ongoing basis.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required 10+ years relevant sales and marketing experience Excellent communication skills Proven track record of organization skills, project management and analytical skills Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment Ability to demonstrate innovative approaches to solutions or problem solving Ability to build and manage relationships
WORKING CONDITIONS
Standard office environment; moderate domestic and international travel for brand events, planning sessions, dealer meetings, and agency summits.
International travel is up to ~35%.
