JOB SUMMARY:

The Associate Marketing Manager for Indian Motorcycle will be an essential member of the marketing team. This person, along with the marketing manager, will be responsible for building an engaged, excited, loyal, and valuable owner base.

This is a unique role that will lead ideating, planning, executing, and measuring of new and existing owner programs. The AMM will be the face of Indian Motorcycle to our owners and responsible for building the relationship between our brand and owners. This role will be best filled by someone who is a self-starter, can navigate ambiguous situations, has experience driving projects from ideation to execution, and is highly organized and energized to make their mark on the motorcycle community. This role require someone who can adeptly balance their focus between soft skills like relationship building with owners and hard skills such as data analysis and driving decisions and strategies based on sound and robust metrics. This individual will partner with brand and sales teams, external agency partners and cross-functional groups within Polaris to execute these responsibilities and drive alignment in all applicable marketing channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive Owner Engagement and Repurchase

Specific areas of responsibility:
1. Lead ideating, planning, executing, and measuring of new and existing owner programs (IMR, IMRG, Elite Status, and Ambassadors)
2. Manage program budget

3. Manage and build relationship with owners and key IMC community leaders
4. Lead collaboration across teams (e.g. PG&A, digital, apparel, etc.) to maximize program impact
5. Work with agency team to develop creative and collateral to maximize impact of programs
6. Execute and attend owner events

7. Identify key owner and program insights through deep analysis into program efficacy, owner engagement, and ROI

8. Regular reporting to leadership on program results and execution

Build brand loyalty through an unmatched owner experience

Specific areas of responsibility:

1, Leverage data insights and key metrics to improve existing owner programs and build new ones that have a high ROI

2. Relentlessly focus on the owner experience across all channels (print, email, dealership, web, app) to drive improvements

3. Drive and build forums and channels that allow for effective communication between the brand and owners

4. Lead collaboration across internal teams to maximize owner experience
5. Work with agency and external teams to develop creative and collateral to maximize owner experience

Brand Management

Specific areas of responsibility:

1, Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels (print, email, website, app)

2. Leverage owner programs, events, and ambassadors to create an inclusive and welcoming owner base that matches our long-term brand goals and vision

3. Act as a brand and knowledge expert for owners, owner groups, as well as internal partners to ensure alignment across all stakeholders and that our brand is living up to its vision of inspiring the next generation of riders

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2+ years of related experience.  
  • Proven track record of developing a clear strategy, implementing strategy, and delivering results.
  • Will be a high-impact person with experience and enthusiasm for building a strong and capable organization.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, focused high achiever who consistently delivers results and can make rapid adjustments in response to industry changes.
  • Highly collaborative and a relationship developer who can develop strong partnerships at multiple levels internally and externally to achieve results.
  • Excellent written, negotiation, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
     

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Over 30% travel required
