Summary
This role involves maintaining and monitoring fluid levels and concentrations in Die Cast equipment, assisting with tool maintenance, troubleshooting, and performing general facilities support tasks. Responsibilities also include ensuring cleanliness in the Die Cast area, handling materials, and adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. Additional duties may involve industrial cleaning, painting, and executing assignments via the work order system.

Responsibilities
- Maintain fluid levels in Die Cast equipment as required or directed.
- Help to monitor fluid concentrations as required.
- Assist in Die Cast cell clean out, including pumping out waste fluids, and maintaining cleanliness around the Die Cast cell.
- Assist with Die Cast tool maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist in material handling of fluid material, spare parts, alloy movement and inventory movement.
- Troubleshooting of equipment with other maintenance personnel.
- Provide general facilities support for the operation including but not limited to general repair and upkeep of the building and Die Cast area.
- Carry out specific assignments as directed by the Work order system or the team supervisor which may include supporting tasks with the maintenance team.
- Provide general facilities support such as painting and/or industrial cleaning.
- Work in a neat, clean and orderly manner.
- Follow all environmental, health and safety rules in daily assignments.
- Perform special projects as assigned.
Knowledge
- High School Degree or GED equivalent
- Experienced using forklifts, scissor lifts and boom lifts
- 3-5 years of general construction or facilities experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors using multiple Communication channels (verbal, written, electronic, etc.)
Working Conditions
- Working with hazardous materials and chemicals.
- Working in confined spaces.
- Will be required to wear the proper safety equipment and follow all safety guidelines.
Starting/Minimum Rate: $21.50/hour
