JOB SUMMARY:

Drive sales of Utility off-road vehicles through identifying opportunities and developing a demand within strategic segments as agribusiness, work & transportation, industry, government needs and other places with a real potential business for Polaris products. This position requires knowledge of agribusiness market and strong communication skills to be able to make recommendations of Polaris products usage in this scene. A highly entrepreneurial sense of urgency along with a passion for the automotive industry is desirable, along with a drive to grow both personally and professionally.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Meets and exceeds subsidiary sales objectives.

• Identifies target markets and develops commercial opportunities mainly within agribusiness segment.

• Keeps a strong presence at field to meet new business opportunities.

• Schedules sales calls and interviews to identify B2B needs, develops proposals, works with Polaris field sales to conduct product demos and closes deals utilizing Polaris dealers.

•Assists the implementation of commercial sales initiatives as customer services, PG&A, marketing activities, CRM and customer follow-up strategies and demo plans.

•Monitors and seeks government purchasing contract opportunities and engages dealers in the government sales process.

•Enhances dealer’s engagement by providing commercial training and support to Polaris field sales team.

•Demonstrates ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements.

•Develops commercial sales support materials, include training guides, presentations, handbooks and operation instructions.

•Works closely with district sales manager and PG&A team to ensure that high levels of quality and service are delivered.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

•Degree in business, marketing or related field required.

•3 - 5 years special sales experience with proven track record required. Sales experience in Agriculture machines or related areas is preferred.

•Proficient in developing business cases and presentation of proposals to commercial customers.

•Excellent communication skills.  •           

WORKING CONDITIONS:

•Base: external work field-based

•Extensive domestic travel required, estimated at 50-70%
