
Sr. Financial Analyst - D&IT

JOB SUMMARY
This role serves as the finance & accounting business partner to the D&IT (Digital and Information Technology) Product Mgmt, Quality & Operations, and International organizations, supporting cross-functional IT programs and development efforts. In this role you will proactively partner with the D&IT leaders and Business Unit Finance leaders to report results, analyze trends, provide financial guidance and recommendations to management; additionally, you will be responsible for supporting D&IT resource planning, allocation methodologies & enhancements, and ensuring proper financial controls. The individual in this role will be required to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and understanding of business requirements to help solve complex business problems through robust modeling, analytics, and partnership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business partner for IT Product Mgmt, Quality, and International teams to establish process, drive results and develop accountability to business goals
Lead key financial and accounting processes cross-functionally in efforts to plan, analyze, and improve financial/accounting quality for D&IT across the Enterprise
Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze variances, and provide insights to management as it relates to P&L and Balance Sheet activities – including department and program spend, capital investments, and business cases for new business ventures
Lead month end close and forecast processes for D⁢ ensuring financial results/forecasts are complete, accurate and prepared consistent with corporate policies
Analyze financial and operational results to proactively identify business risk and opportunity, as well as respective plans to countermeasure/leverage for benefit of the business and drive profit expansion
Drive process improvement, automation, and enhanced reporting of KPIs to enable efficiencies, ensuring proper controls and procedures are in place for critical financial/accounting processes
Own financial consolidation of global D&IT spend, lead FP&A efforts and drive visibility into critical investments, communicating to senior D&IT leadership and GBU partners
Become an integral part of the business team, providing leadership and functional expertise wherever needed; solicit feedback and provide closed loop communication system to enhance quality of service
Perform miscellaneous projects as assigned.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA preferred
3-6 years finance / accounting or related experience
Extensive experience in various Microsoft tools (excel, PowerPoint) required. Onestream and PowerBI, and other query & data tools experience a plus
Strong project management capabilities with ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects and initiatives
Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills with previous experience working with senior management on a routine basis
Ability to plan and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
Strong analytics, attention to detail, and problem-solving experience with ability to analyze complex data and translate into actionable information and plans
