
ORV Mechanic – Vehicle Inventory Reduction

JOB SUMMARY:
Refurbish and scrap off-road vehicles to manage vehicle inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain organization of vehicle inventory
Prepare vehicles for sale – perform updates and service. May include replacing large components (engines, transmissions, frames, etc.)
Prepare vehicles for scrap – drain fluids, remove batteries, etc.
Assist ORV Development team with track and trail maintenance.
Oversee storage areas (mezzanine, pallet racking, vehicle storage).
Ensure proper procedures are followed and address issues that arise.
Travel required periodically.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and meet OSHA requirements.
Maintain strict confidentiality.
Perform other assignments as requested.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
High school diploma required.
2-Year degree in technical field preferred
Basic computer skills required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Must be capable of operating forklifts.
Skid Loader experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Powersports experience preferred.
Data acquisition & diagnostic tool experience preferred.
Fabrication & welding preferred.
Minimum 3 years mechanic or technician experience preferred.
CORE HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
TRAVEL:
May be required for inventory management at plants or warehouses.
