Ultimate ATV
This is our latest Polaris ATV in a long history of Polaris ATV's going back to the 90's and our first Explorer and Trail Boss, then Sportsman 500, 700, 800 and the 850XP. This is the Ultimate in engineering and performance, hands down. We ride in the desert of western AZ and the mountains of NW CO primarily.

Love my Polaris
This quad is truly the best money can buy. power steering winch and everything extra. The power of this machine is crazy! wasn't expecting the power. Plus it just looks mean. All in all so glad i bout the Polaris. It does everything i ask it to do and more. Plus i love the on demand 4wd.

I was on the search for a matte copper or lava orange sportsman xp1000 but all the dealers around me were sold out. I had to drive 13 hours round trip to get this machine, but that was one of the best decisions I made! For making the trip, the dealer installed the accessories for free and gave me a discount because I added quite a few. I love everything about this machine! The 3 throttle selections, suspension, aggressive tires, color, and factory Accessories they make for these machines are amazing! I mainly use my four wheeler for deer hunting and the occasional atv trip. This machine has made it through all different kinds of terrain I've thrown at it! I would not hesitate buying a Polaris of any trim, but HIGHLY recommend the XP1000 Sportsman. Hit the throttle and hang on!

Great machine
Great machine thus far, which I entirely expected. I anticipate and hope this Sportsman performs and remains as dependable as my 2004 Sportsman 600. The power steering is amazing and the incredible engine power in my new 1000 has to be managed appropriately.

Sportsman 1000
The Sportman 1000XP is an overall great machine. Other than a couple of quality issues like loose steering system components and coolant hoses rubbing on moving suspension components, it seems to be a well built machine. Love the power and handling of it.

awesome handling
I bought this quad in the fall and have had a few chances to ride it. The handling is awesome with the power steering! Took it out hunting and it was an amazing ride! My wife would like to steal it cause it has power steering and her 2005 one doesn't.

My experience
I bought it in February and have used it for hunting and hauling stuff around the property. I have been extremely impressed by the power and the ride of it. And I love the seat that the premium came with. I have never felt a seat as comfortable as it is

Awesome machine
I love it! They fixed a lot of the issues from previous years on the 2019 model. Smooth ride everything about it feels great. Just took it on a 60 mile trail ride on rough trails it did awesome. My only issue is they only offer it it one color.

Great machine
I bought this machine about 2 months ago and couldn’t be happier with it. It does everything I want it or need it to do. I really like the three different modes (work,normal, and performance). They all have there differ t purpose.

Great Ride
My sportsman is about 2 months old. The power and ride comfort are very good. There have been some small issues with the build quality but, Polaris customer service has been excellent and remedied any situation that has come up.

Unreliable
I used my sportsman 1000 for hunting primarily and it loses all power out of nowhere. The shop could find a problem with it but it continued to happen.

Xp1000
I've owned my xp 1000 for a few months now and have ridden it several hundred miles. It's a very nice machine and I've had no issues with it. There's only a few things I think could be improved with this line of machine. The main reason I bought an xp 1000 was power. I come from a background of racing and owning very fast motorcycles. The power is nothing near what I expected but it's very smooth and controlable. That controlability make it easy to ride all day and I really enjoy the 3 power modes. The next and main thing I think needs an improvment is the suspension! The only adjustment thats available is preload and for an offroad vehicle that's not enough. The ride quality could be so much better if the shocks were properly tuned with proper spring rates. The last thing I think needs to be updated is the lighting. I see for the 2020 model year that led headlights are now available but the highbeam pod light is still halogen. That's a bit disapointing and I think the styling and function of that light could be incredible but for now leave's a lot to be desired.

Excellent
More power and speed than Ill ever need! Comfortable ride, very aggressive on the trails without any issues! UNFORTUNATELY Im having issues with the power steering not turning on, 3 times within 250 miles of riding.

The unit works very well
I bought this unit two months ago.The engine went out the fourth week with only 21hrs.It was 5 weeks later when my unit was ready.I am very disappointed with the engine problems as well as the length of downtime.

2018 1000 Sportsman Hunter Edition
Got this atv for mainly hunting but love the performance for playing. Variable performance setting is great option as I like the ability to tone it down when riding off-road through the woods while hunting

Power and Performance second to none
I owned a 2012 850XP Touring and was so happy with it I bought a 2018 Sportsman XP 1000. I didn’t think it was possible to make it better but WOW what a difference. This is the best ATV I’ve ever driven

Great workhorse
Bought this for spraying pastures and general work on the farm.Only reason is does not get 5 star rating is because it is a fire starter. Started 2 fires already because of location of exhaust.

An amazing machine
Very little can improve this vehicle, but front LED lights should be a requirement. That would definitely make it a perfect machine. Factory Updatable GPS would be another plus.

Flat amazing
I have yet to get out on long ride due to Covid-19 but have done a couple smaller rides and it continues to amaze me. Power, response, handling & comfort all in one vehicle.

It’s a beast!
