Polaris Snocrosser Kody Kamm Wins ISOC Pro Open Final in Michigan; Jake Angove and Zak Mason Both Win in Pro Lite

Minneapolis, MN (February 28, 2017) – Polaris Snocross Racer Kody Kamm (Hentges Racing) won the Friday night Pro Open final in dominant fashion this past weekend at the Mt. Pleasant, Mich., ISOC race. Jake Angove (Judnick Motorsports) and Zak Mason (Team LaVallee, Loctite, Polaris, Red Bull) both won to give Polaris a sweep in Pro Lite. Elina Ohman (Davies Racing) extended her win streak to 12 by winning both of the weekend’s Pro-Am Women’s finals.

Pro Open: Kamm Leads Flag-to-Flag in Win

Polaris racers dominated Pro Open racing Friday night as Corin Todd (Leighton Motorsports), Ross Martin (Judnick Motorsports) and Kamm won heat races. Kamm led from flag-to-flag winning the final. Five Polaris racers earned top-10 finishes in each of the weekend’s Pro Open finals.

Kamm finished fourth on Saturday night, which kept him second in Pro Open points with five rounds of racing to go this season. In fifth through eighth place are: Petter Narsa (Hentges Racing), Ross Martin, Kyle Pallin (Team LaVallee, Loctite, Polaris, Red Bull) and Corin Todd.

Angove and Mason Win in Pro Lite

In Pro Lite, Jake Angove had a double-podium weekend, winning Saturday’s final and taking second on Friday. Angove’s successful weekend moved him up to second in Pro Lite points, one spot ahead of Nickolas Lorenz (Judnick Motorsports) in third. Mason is fifth in points, followed by Evan Daudt (Daudt Racing) in sixth and Cole Cottew (Cottew Motorsports) in seventh.

Ohman a Perfect 12-for-12

In Pro-Am Women’s racing, Elina Ohman continued her perfect season, winning both finals to give her 12-straight finals wins. It was another dominant weekend where the second-year ISOC racer also won all four of her heat races. Jakki Farmer (Fort Fremont Racing) finished third on her Polaris race sled both nights. Ohman, who finished second in points last season, is the Pro-Am Women’s points leader. Also in the top five in points are Jakki Farmer in fourth and Amanda Duitsman (Plaisted Racing) in fifth.

The next weekend of ISOC racing will be March 3-4, in Dubuque, Iowa, a first-time stop for the national snocross tour.
