Payroll Clerk

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for facilitating and maintaining the Huntsville DLE/ POU and wholegood programs. This individual will work closely with the payroll administrator and provide support for all payroll functions as well as provide customer service to the internal HSV departments. This role collaborates with employees at all levels and multiple departments on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the COR360 superuser for Huntsville to allocate and route invoices. 
• Provide support to payroll administrator, serve as payroll backup and assist with ongoing tasks.
• Work with Polaris Travel, accounts payable, payroll, HR, and vendor contacts.
• Process Polaris Owned Units (POU) orders, payments and monitor training requirements for the DLE program.
• Process employee wholegood orders and payments.
• Work with Polaris dealers as needed to facilitate unit delivery and pick up
• Field inquiries on order statuses
• Partner with facilities technician to return old units or send to auction
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy
• Maintain compliance with the POU policies and guidelines
• Drive quality and continuous improvement in all areas of responsibility & assist with process improvements.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Experience utilizing Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Kronos, Cor360, MAPICS is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.
• Ability to work through large amounts of data.
• Proven experience with problem solving and demonstration of critical thinking
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and reprioritize tasks
• Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with previous experience supporting cross-functional teams
