JOB SUMMARY:
Lead the Accounts Receivable efforts for Commercial, Government & Defense by researching and resolving past due balances and unapplied cash. 
   

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of Aging report with focus on identifying root cause of non-payment
  • Distribute weekly A/R summary to the business unit highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Assist Treasury team with proper application of unapplied cash on customer accounts
  • Work with Wells Fargo and customers to resolve late payment issues
  • Ensure proper documentation is in place regarding issues & resolution
  • Provide customers with missing information required for payment
  • Lead new customer credit check process
  • Troubleshoot system issues or errors that may impact proper receipt of invoice by customers
  • Assist with Sales Operations ad hoc duties including credit approvals, order creation, order maintenance, and communicating to logistics when orders are ready to ship
  • Manage base dealer order fulfillment by aligning available inventory units with order priority list
  • Support the upload and maintenance of base dealer promise dates in DEX
  • Partner with Sales Operations to execute the demand plan in order to achieve business unit ship targets

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Associates degree in Accounting/Finance preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance required
  • Experience with collections and Government contracts preferred
  • Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, internally within the organization and externally to customers
  • Strong relationship-building skills and customer focus
  • Ability to work independently & cross-functionally and partner with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Be able to share knowledge, expertise and opinions in a professional manner
  • Technical Expertise – strong problem solving skills with an attention to detail
  • Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Word)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (including AS/400) and customer relationship management software (including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM) experience is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Standard office environment
  • Hybrid work model – local candidates as some in person required
  • Full Time / 40 hours a week
  • Location – Medina (Headquarters)
