JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Outfitter Instructional Marketing Designer who is passionate about designing and deploying learning & growth opportunities as part of the high-growth Polaris adventures team.

This position will play a critical role within the marketing team in developing and delivering training for Polaris Adventures’ Outfitter network and Account Management team on marketing programs and best practices. This includes development and presentation of outfitter onboarding, training on customer service, local marketing, digital best practices, business processes, and more.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can both develop materials for pre-identified needs, but also proactively identify opportunities for training curriculum for internal employees and outfitters that results in increased knowledge, productivity, and engagement.

You will drive the creation of materials and implementation of training tailored to the program/idea/process etc., and provide project management and content design and development.

This position must be capable of working independently and is part of a larger distributed team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Management teams and other internal stakeholders to conduct training needs assessments, deliver training materials, and roll-out new initiatives
  • Identify additional training needs based on feedback from various sources, changes to processes, surveys, and other factors
  • Design, develop and organize training materials, multimedia visual aids, and other communication materials.
  • Create communication and change management plans for project implementation and delivery
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure timelines and all deliverables are met
  • Continually enhance methods based on best practices in the industry, emerging technologies, vendor resources and products, business unit requirements and expectations, and feedback from learners
  • Conduct Outfitter Onboardings and one-on-one consultations as needed
  • Create “Train the Trainer” sessions and materials to deputize internal teams to foster a training and learning environment as well
  • Responsible for follow-up assessments of Outfitter retention
  • Build a learning culture both internally and with outfitters to encourage commitment to continual development and business improvement
  • Help drive Polaris Adventures’ brand awareness inside and outside of the company

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; or Associates Degree with comparable working experience is required
  • Hybrid experience of marketing & education experience is strongly desired.
  • 3+ years designing and developing training programs &/or educational materials; experience within hospitality, entertainment, &/or travel/tourism marketing education experience is strongly preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations
  • Proven relationship management, diplomacy, and consultative abilities
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Ability to adjust training methods based upon evaluation and feedback from assessments
  • Effective time management and priority focus skills to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
  • Fluency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: Captivate, Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premier and Audition a plus
