JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for issuing and keying engineering purchase requisitions, balancing capital expenditures and assisting in budgeting detail.  This role will process non-purchase order invoices and provide project assistance to the Snow Engineering team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for engineering purchase orders for Roseau, Osceola, Medina & Wyoming which includes issuing, keying, resolving problems, addressing questions from vendors and the accounting department, and submitting invoices for payment.  Also keep the vendor list up to date for Roseau and on the Wyoming Sharepoint site. Maintain the Sharepoint site for Wyoming for engineering purchase orders, update when processed and add more PEs as needed.  Also assign PEs to other individuals as needed. Review and approve invoices for PE purchase orders and CER purchase orders in buyer messages. Processing non-purchase order invoices for payment to the COR360. Process contractor purchase orders and track invoicing. Responsible for maintaining all engineering support capital spending which includes assigning CER numbers, creating, and maintaining the CER reports, including providing in-service dates and projects to finance. Assist Snowmobile group with project status meeting schedules and other administrative support as needed. Maintain engineering seating chart in ioffice, obtain name plates, and outlook distribution lists. Collect and distribute daily engineering mail into mailboxes. Monitor, order, and stock office supplies. Maintain the Petty Cash. Prepare SVI invoices. Order business cards for engineering as requested. Keep Administrative Assistant manual up to date. Order coffee supplies and maintain the Fuel Coffee 54 area. Assist in retirement parties, send out emails, order cake, make sure all necessary supplies are available. Organizational Leader for Profit Sharing week. Will provide EPR support, COM order support and other Facility support as needed. Provide purchasing and logistics support to Fab dept as needed. Perform other duties as required.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Advanced Microsoft Office Skills: Work, Excel, Powerlink, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience working with Sharepoint and AS400. Communicate effectively and professionally to internal customers and external vendors. Must be able to establish working relationships with Polaris employees at different locations. Multi-task: ability to manage several projects/demands at one time in a fast pace environment based on priority and internal process. Ability to compile, analyze and present data and information. Strong attention to detail and follow-up, while working independently and proactively. Excellent organizational and record retention skills. Customer service and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional education/training preferred.
  • 3 years accounting experience required.  Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
